This used to be a great sandwich place. Ordered my usual #16. The lady stopped making it and went to ring up about 8 different customers. So my hot sandwich was served cold and the Dutch crunch became soft and crumbly on top. The turkey was also an odd color. Weird texture and taste. Mac Salad was fine and the second order (cold turkey sandwich) was okay. Won't return to this location.

First time even hearing of this place, decided to give it a try. I had the nighthawk, lots of chicken, really tasty, but the star is the sourdough bread - So good. Staff was friendly, asked if we'd ever been there and showed us the menu because we hadn't. Got there just before the lunch rush and they were super quick. Will definitely eat there again

Being a vegetarian - I ordered the only thing on the menu. Sadly the sandwich came with the following- 2 pieces of cheese- three strands of onions- one piece of lettuce. LITERALLY ONE- two peppersOh and by the way - the No line menu price is $1 cheaper than in store.Sadly I was disappointed compared to their Palm Springs store!

Not the best first experience. Service was slow and the 2 employees seemed determined to speak to us and the other customers as little as possible, not even acknowledging the 3 customers who came in after us, which just made the slow service more uncomfortable as we waited about 10 minutes to have our 2 sandwiches made (it was empty when we walked in around lunchtime, I would have been more understanding of the wait and lack of communication if they had been busy). The sandwiches themselves tasted pretty good but we both had The Nighthawk and were disappointed to find that the avocado in both sandwiches was old and black. I was also unpleasantly surprised that the top crust of the Dutch crust bread was sugary sweet for some reason, would definitely get a different bread if I ever come back.

Good flavor but it seems like they lowered the amount of meat in each sandwich and all I'm eating is bread.

The sandwiches were decent. After about 10 minutes at home they tasted old. Pastrami was really cheap. There were basically no veggies on our sandwiches. And mine, I specifically ordered with no avocado because I'm allergic, it was still on the sandwich so I couldn't even eat it.

I have been hyped up about this place by my friend for a month or two as he goes to the shop in midtown. I went to this spot i stead. When I entered there were 2 young adults who just stared at me until I spoke. I explained I had never been to the Sandwhich Spot and was replied to with "umm okay, what do you want?" I still ordered but the dead silence and lack of questioning for my toppi g on said sandwhich was strange. When I ate the sandwhich, it was WAY more bread than topping. I think I will give the midtown one a try.

Got a three meat sandwich from here and the roast beef tasted so nasty and old makes me want to throw up it's tasted so bad... never coming here again had to throw the rest out

Very friendly and a great sandwich.

This restaurant was once decent in my experience, but after today, I have looming questions about the management and whether I should bother going back. When I walked in, Sandwich Spot wasn't packed, and there were three employees (one more than I saw on previous occasions). Yet it took a couple of awkward minutes before an employee would even look at or speak to me. This could have been understandable if there had been a long line, but I was the only person in line. The vibe was bizarre, off-putting, and unwelcoming. None of the employees acted like they cared whether I was comfortable even standing in the establishment. There was little evidence that anyone understood the basic principle of maintaining a reasonably positive atmosphere for custom. In fact, the employees looked so depressed and uninterested in any other human being that I began imagining why they might be this sullen and unfriendly. Did all three of them just lose a loved one? Did a vicious previous customer pass the nastiest gas of all time? Does the manager make the employees miserable for entertainment? Did a beloved celebrity couple call it quits?I suppose I will never know.On top of that, the sandwich was more bread than anything else. What a novel idea.
