Had the recommended fish and chips and my wife had the salmon. DELICIOUS !!!!!!!! The ambiance was beautiful. The service and staff was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place.
The venue is great. Right on the water. Our server wasnât the best. He just seemed really annoyed to be at work. It was super hot, and they didnât seem to have the AC on very high, so I would be cranky too, but still. When the average price per plate is $25, your customers shouldnât know when youâre having a bad day. The food was fine, but not worth the money. It all just seemed to lack flavor. Even the bread they brought us at the start was bland and a little stale. My $45 NY steak was medium well, even tho I asked for medium rare, assuming Iâd get medium. Most of their wine only comes by the bottle. Each type of wine only offers one kind by the glass. They sell white claws, but the only flavors on hand were grapefruit and lime. Gross. Overall, Iâve had MUCH worse experiences at other places, but I wouldnât go back here again. The best part was that it was a 15 second walk from our room. Props for convenience.

The food was very good. Had Fish and Chips - the fish was fresh and moist with a beer batter. The french fries were really good - could be hand cut. Sat outside on the patio which is great place to see the boats cruise by. It was our lucky day because there was a jazz concert going across the river. Perfect lunch! Good menu choices. Fellow guest near us had salads that were huge. One said the chicken on the Caesar salad was excellent. This restaurant is in Old Sacramento - a fun place to visit. I live a long distance from this restaurant but I will make it my first choice when I return.
Loved the atmosphere, the food was delicious, service was professional and courteous.
The service was great. The food could have been much better for the price. The outside seating is outdated. For the price of the meals, I would expect a much higher quality dining experience. Additionally, the loud music from the boats going by dampened the mood. I realize this is not the restaurantâs fault, but it was disappointing. Sadly, we wonât be returning.
It was nice however I didnât get the seating I requested for my reservation. But it was nice. Good service and the food was great. Thank you

Fantastic service! He was attentive, did quality checks and was very personable. The food was very good. I deducted 1 star for the presentation and plating. I ordered the swordfish which was delicious but it was placed over top of the broccolini and mash, leaving half the plate empty. It makes the entree look small. A bit of wow factor to make it look more appealing is all that's required. I would certainly recommend this place and would return if I visit Sacramento again
