great food great ambience good service I like it I go there all the time but it's great that Mr is awesome is cool in there on a hot day good service yes I love Mel's diner I went to the original one in Hollywood as well Bombay
I stopped in today as my mother was having outpatient surgery up the street and i needed a place to eat and hang out. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My server Eduardo was very attentive. I ordered the Chorizo Scramble and it was delicious. Very flavorful and a generous portion. I'm very glad I stopped in and will do so again next time I'm in town.
Decor was a vibe! My burger was delicious! Bread was light and fluffy. The party also enjoyed the option of choosing biscuit and gravy instead of toast. Someone had the country fried steak and they couldn't dtop raving about the panko for breading. Best choice!Ooo their Mel's fries were crispy, but soft on the side. Real chease and bacon pieces.
Classic 50s diner with great breakfast food! I’ve been to a few Mel’s restaurants and this one is my favorite. The service is great and the food comes out fast. I really love the country fried steak. It’s also really fun to look at all of the 50s memorabilia. I had like suggest stopping in for a bite!
My first time ever. I enjoyed it. Friendly staff, food was hot and delish. I will come back again.
But better than average food. Looks like a 1950/60’s diner, with great decor. Small jukeboxes at each table. Very good service. We had a blue cheese burger and a Reuben. Both were very good and tasted fresh. Food served quickly.
Great place to eat. You never know what you might see on the street as well, very entertaining!
First time at this restaurant. Enjoyed my order, the Mel Sampler. Very tasteful. Juan did an excellent job on customer service. He was very accommodating to everyone at my table. Very clean establishment and I look forward to eating there again.
Good food and good ambiance
We got there around 12:30am and they close at 1am. Everything was to go. Customer service was great and the service was fast. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with Biscuit and Gravy. It was delicious. The portion was pretty good. I give this place 2 thumbs up ??
