An amazing experience. Each time I've gone has been different, with the menu reflecting whatever is fresh, but the chef and his team always provide an awesome meal. The most impressive part is how they adapt for dietary restrictions, from vegetarian, pescatarian, or even just low dairy.

This was our first time at The Kitchen after hearing about it for years from friends and tonight was an incredible experience! I was blown away by the asparagus — ASPARAGUS! We didn’t really know what to expect from this level of fine dining and were unsure if the dishes would be too sophisticated for our palate but the first dish of asparagus showed us what we’ve been missing! The quality ingredients and sauces tasted so clean yet had rich, complex flavors. The evening was definitely off to an impressive start as that was the most memorable plate of asparagus I’ve ever enjoyed! It appeared we were the only ones to bring our child tonight and our 10-year-old loved it! She can be finicky with certain foods and vegetables at home, but she was a big fan of the asparagus dish, as well as the oysters (trying it for the first time), and the beef medallion (enjoying two servings). The wonton in pea purée was also spectacular. Peas never tasted this good before! Our family really enjoyed the evening together and we are so happy to experience The Kitchen. Before tonight we were also concerned whether we could slog through 4-5 hours of dining but the time flew by. The pacing was perfect and there’s so much going on in front of you and in the kitchen that you don’t pay attention to the time. The service is extremely attentive, courteous, and welcoming. The combination of amazing food and impeccable service results in a very comfortable way to spend the evening. Thank you to the chefs, managers, and entire team for such a perfect and memorable night!

It's worth the wait, the price, and a special occasion. Nothing like it in Sacramento and nothing like it almost anywhere I've been. It's part food experience part entertainment experience. I love this place!

It was a good experience but not sure we will try it again. Yea there were a lot of flavors but it was all kind of the same. Potato and spinach puree. 1st course was asparagus, potatoe puree w truffles. 2nd was a dumpling on puree of peas. Then beef with potatoe puree. I was full but felt full on the richness of everything (potatoe?) You could order seconds but I didn't feel like it. Wine pairing was 125 a person. So whole course was 300+. It was an experience but nothing I will be craving to come back to.

This is one of the best restaurants and it's our absolute favorite. The quality of the ingredients, the beautiful presentation, and the taste of each dishes are extraordinarily delicious. There's no word to describe the experience, you just have to come and see it for yourself. You can and will enjoy, relax, laugh, and have fun at The Kitchen.Special thanks to Chief Kelly and his whole team. You guys are amazingly talented. Thank you for all your wonderful delicious dishes. We really appreciated all that you did and allowed us to be part of it.

The presentation is outstanding, the food looks incredible unfortunately it lacks taste. My second time there and last. The best item wasn't on the menu, the amuse bouche. It was a mushroom soup and fantastic. Also delicious, the Dungeness crab crepe. The Cauliflower starter was disappointed as was the diakon radish dish. Both looked incredible but didn't taste so. The pasta dish with truffle was twofold. The pasta was delicious BUT the copious amount of truffle the chef grated onto each plate not only looked disgusting but tasted disgusting. I have been to Italy, we love truffle. My husband is a chef. We weren't sure what grade of truffle we were eating but not on par with the French Laundry. The main dish, a beef roll of sorts was tough and chewy. The desert, a cherry cheesecake another disappointment. I will give them the chocolate chip cookies and tiny cappuccino cream puff, both delicious. The wine list is outrageously expensive and the choices lacking. I suggest you pay the corkage and bring your own wine. Spending $500 on a dinner for two that looked pretty and listening to an arrogant loud, screaming chef all night....not worth the money in my opinion.

Wonderful! Excellent food and service!

Incredible experience. What kind of restaurant opens up all their crevices and wants you to look behind the curtain?...this one. Not only do they have nothing to hide, but the Kitchen has everything to flaunt. Knowledgeable, personable, and professional staff are always there for you. The food is top tier delicious not to mention plentiful. You WILL need a wheelbarrow to be rolled out of the restaurant and the end of the night. Quite the treat, quite the experience, quite the caloric intake. You won't be disappointed.

Had a wonderful dining experience at the kitchen. The food was soooo good. Seriously unique and so so tasty. I’m stuffed.

Best dinner ever. Food was amazing and the staff was even better.
