Tasty as always. Their Sichuan pot is way too spicy for me! If you're kitty tongue can't handle spicy, go with beef pot.I do complain about their front door, looks bit messy.
I came here today thinking I could claim my free 11th hot pot. The server told me I have to order 2 hot pots in order to get 1 free. What???? When did I have to eat 2 when I'm alone to get 1 free? I claimed that free one before with no issues. When did this rule took in effect?What's the point of having 5-stars reward points and don't let me claim because I am here alone.
Vegetarian hotpot is just soso, can’t say it’s delicious.However if you want to eat a hotpot so bad then it’s acceptable.
Really got worse over the years. Got sat and took 45min for pots to finally come out. Add-on prices have gone way too high. Theyre trying to compete with places like boiling point but their quality is much lower. Nice to go once in a while now but there are better alternatives like shabu if you're going to be spending $20/person anyways
I've been to Tasty Pot in other locations before but this one was not a particularly pleasant experience. The food itself was fine, but for nearly $20 for a small single serving hotpot, I expect better dine in experience. First of all, the restaurant itself looked run down and the atmosphere was off, was seated near the door and told we couldn't sit other seat because of party size. So was forced to wait for 1.5 hours while heavy wind drafts blew in our face with people coming in and out. Secondly, service was incredibly slow. The order was taken out of order and the table that came in after us finished eating and paying before we even received our food. I had to stand up and ask for rice because I knew they probably wouldn't have given us it if I didn't remind. I have empathy for service workers over this workers shortage but I don't understand how pouring broth over a hot pot would take almost 2 hours to come out. I regretted coming here because it would have been faster to just make hot pot at home if I knew the wait would be that long.

I usually get the No.2 Lamb & its always been good. The portion, for me, is big and filling. No.1, 8 & 11 is also good. If you like seafood, try out No. 12 - my mom always get that. If they have the soybean dipping sauce, use it!! It'll look orange ish and thicker than the other two sauces. Its so good with the meat and veggies. Definitely a favorite spot.

Tasty yes, but I feel like restaurant hygiene could have been better. There's also no way to accessibly turn off the methanol burner underneath the pot when you want it to stop.
