Yummy food I liked the steak more than the chicken but the chicken is very flavorful! Fast service!!
I have been eating here for over 4 years. The food is amazing. But the last few weeks chimichangas are now grilled instead fried. That's a shame. Fix it.

Fantastic food! Great service and definitely won't leave hungry...lol. The atmosphere is really calm and peaceful. Fast service too. I definitely recommend Taqueria Rincon Alteño. Great food but staff is not.. I would give them 5 stars, if only the staff didn't treat you like an outsider, meaning being polite and speaking English works against you. If you go in to pickup your food, save for the tip for Spanish lessons, as your treated as if you don't belong cause you cannot speak their language. Also, they charge you for side that come with your dinners cause you made the mistake of asking it on the side. Please, work on being polite to those that only speak English and cannot understand you that well do to your Mexican accent. Im not being disrespectful, just honest with my recent visit.
Great Mexican food.Sad that there is Lengua on the Menu, but they do not sell it anymore.I came all the way from Colorado and thought about going to this place, not necessarily to eat Lengua.My family here in Sac, brag about this restaurant.It gets busy now there is apartments being built in the back. They move the lines quick and plenty of room to dine in.
Always fresh, authentic Mexican and busy. The meats are well seasoned and portions are generous. Street tacos and Chile rellenos and quite tasty. Wide variety at the salsa bar makes everything better.
Thanks this food was delicious because great cooking and the sign of don’t waste by the sauce it made me appreciate more what i had.My food had the right crunch, softness and juice!! Delicious mmmm….
