I shouldn't even give it a star. It was horrible . I paid $25. For 4 ribs and tri tip which 2 of the ribs look as if they were cut small then they were hidden underneath the other two ribs soak in alot of sauce. As for the tri tip I had to search for it which seem like a bottle of BBQ sauce was pour in my food. It was horrible . I I can say is I paided for expensive BBQ sauce. Never go there again. The slice of hot link I got was tasty. People look at your food before you leave even if they tie it in a knot open up your bag. When I called to speak to manager I was told they weren't in. I explained to the gentlemen that answer they phone . His response was " We'll what I'm I suppose to do." What a shame it not like we were asking for our money back or another meal. I wouldn't eat there again if it was FREE.
Ordered the 2 way with ribs, tri tip, greens and cornbread, and Mac and cheese.First, I had to go back to the get the cornbread as it was not included in my bag! Good thing I checked before leaving!Meat was good lack’s seasoning though and the ribs were charred a bit too much. The BBQ sauce is on point!Mac n cheese was disgusting! Not at all what I expected. Tasted like boiled noodles with watery cheese sauce and black pepper, no salt or cheese flavor no added shredded cheese either. Ultimately a disgrace to Mac n Cheese.Greens. Horrible! Taste like hot sauce water. No meat, onions, garlic! Just straight hot sauce water.Corn bread: I should not have went back for it. It wasn’t worth itOver all! I paid $19.99 for the meal $3 extra for the greens and $3 extra for the Mac n cheese! Complete waste of money.I would only get the meat from there it I ever return.
I enjoyed the ribs. The service was okay. Honestly the chicken was a little dry,The coleslaw seemed old and the macaroni and cheese was not it. I drive by this place all the time and always wanted to try it but I was a little less than impressed.
Very rude and disrespectful. Placed an Order through DoorDash and was contacted by restaurant staff letting us know that they were out of tri-tip. They let us know what options were a available and asked if we could go back in our order and change it to something they mentioned was available. That’s not an option with DoorDash so they cancelled the whole order. $200+ that we will have to wait 5 business days to be refunded. We placed ANOTHER order containing the items THEY TOLD US WERE AVAILABLE. Only to have the order cancelled AGAIN. To quote the individual on the phone before she hung up on me… simply “because the order was too large”. Now that’s $400+ that I don’t have access to for 5 business days. Luckily I have the money to spare but imagine if I didn’t and needed to feed my family!? They refused to put me in contact with their manager “Ronnie” and hung up on me multiple times. All around bad business and a horrible experience. I will never order from them again.
What a disappointment! I don't know how they stay in business at 2 different locations for over 20 years! Just a bad as Church's chicken on Stockron Bl! Chicken sandwich was a pile of mush. Brisket tough as hell. Won't ever visit again.
Very disappointed!!! First time ever having tough chicken!!! The best part of my meal was the bbq sauce. The green beans lacked flavor and fresh seasoning. Macaroni salad is dry and no fresh seasoning. I didn’t try the greens because they looked just like the green beans.
The meat was ok, the beans was all sauce and the coleslaw was dry. Very unsatisfied with our otders.
If i could describe this place.... well there's actually a song about it....."The macaroni is soggy, the peas are mushed, and the chicken taste like wood."But for reals, don't go here. Unless you're someone who like flavorless food, if so then yes, go here.
If I could have given this restaurant zero stars I would have. I ordered chicken, ribs , “Mac n cheese” , and greens and “cornbread”. The Mac n cheese tasted like they boiled noodles and put olive oil and pepper in it. The greens tasted like peppery water and the “cornbread” was two pieces of white bread… Extremely overpriced for food that wasn’t even as good as gas station food. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. On top of the food being disgusting the cook was rude to me and my friend that came in. Very disappointed in my whole experience.
Collard greens had a canned taste. Corn bread was cold. Food portion was good for the price but the quality of taste was not there.
