Super fantastic place to eat just outside of Sacramento. They have it all. Tacos, burgers, chicken, tacos, fish and chips, beer, tacos, margaritas, tacos, etc… did I mention tacos? All of it is amazing. The food literally was served only minutes after it was ordered. If you’re looking for a chill place to eat and hang out, you’ll enjoy what you can see, hear, eat, and do here. Try it out!
Atmosphere:Very fun & entertaining scenery. Awesome for those who enjoy taking pictures, a hidden gem. Live band ( with cover charge) or seating in the front if you don't want to sit down by river. You can still hear the music, just can't see the performers from front seating. We stopped in for lunch, there was four of us. We were seated no problem and had a server there immediately. We had a Ceasar salad, mini tacos and French fries, fish and chips and fish tacos and two beers. The food was great, the live music was entertaining and pleasant, the river was busy and the temperature outside was mid 70's. Overall it was a really good lunch and atmosphere.
I've never had a fish taco. I actually don't even like fish. But I heard they have amazing fish tacos. So, went way out of comfort zone and had my mind blown. This was easily one of the BEST things I've ever eaten. So delicious no pictures were taken as I inhaled them. $13.99 for two fish tacos and days later I'm still thinking about them. ?
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue! When Doves Cry live band blew my mind on how much the singer sounded alot like The man himself Prince. Food was very good. Drinks very good. :Cons the drive made No sense to us Lol make sure to have a sober driver people! Plus it took 45mins for us to FIND a server to take our order!
It was a very cool vibe here, and the food and service were great! I found this little dive by accident. I need to come back soon!
Awesome vibe beautiful pirate beach bar, the food is 2 stars. You’re not even trying, Take the salads and other half a$$ stuff off the menu so people don’t order them and regret. Get someone in your kitchen who cares and you’ll make lots more money
The atmosphere overall was pleasant.The food on the other hand, although quite tasty, was almost double the price.Then add in the $40 cover charge because of the live music, from someone I had never heard of, who could barely be heard over the instruments, then your well on the way to a pricy evening.Would I go here again.Probably not.

Their new policy of staff escorting patrons to tables seems to control crowded aisles. The outdoor bar is closed with service only through servers which is good for the workers but expect to wait for food and drinks. We were seated by the fire pit which continued to smoke in spite of no fire (2pm on a Spring afternoon) so beware if you don't want to smell like a campfire.
