We came to sushi Q for the first time and had a blast! Senh was our sushi chef who indulged our request who made us two of the best chef selected sushi rolls we had in a long time. Not only did he provide an amazing experience for us up at the bar, but we were blown away by his dishes. Thank you Senh we’ll be back!-Mad and Kris
This is small location that's making some outstandingly good food. There's outdoor seating for those nice spring and autumn evenings, the interior has a modest 9 or 10 tables.I came on a Tuesday evening and was seated quickly. The menu was on a QR code (hard copy menus available upon request), they have a variety of items and combinations to fit all budgets. There rolls were tight and correctly proportioned making every bit a tasty one. The Chicken was thin and cut into bit sized pieces, with a glaze that made you want to take it home.The servers take your order, bring your food, make sure your beverage is full, and that's about it; they stay out the way and let you enjoy the experience that is the food.The wife and I will be back to enjoy some more of the menu. If you enjoy good food in a cozy setting, this sushi location will fulfill all of your desires!
We've ordered from here few times and mostly it has been a good experience. Our last time the food wasn't good but I guess most restaurant are having issues during COVID, so we will give it another try next time.
Excellent service. Food served quickly, at proper temperature and with sufficient serving sizes. We were satisfied and the pricing was good too!
I've eaten some of the best sushi ever at this place, can't say enough good things about it. Amazing sashimi plates, fantastic rolls and the food from the kitchen is awesome as well. I've never been disappointed by anything off their special board, highly recommended!
Excellent sushi, chirashi and teriyaki chicken. A little pricey/expensive. I like the reggae music in the background. Since it is small and busy, usually there is a wait for both take out and dine in.
Thao is the best waitress there, the food was amazing. I’m always pleasantly surprised by the Chef’s special and what they come up with. It’s the best sushi in Elk Grove
They told me it was an hour wait. I waited and then when I came in to ask, they just said no. We don’t have any seating for you. What kind of service is this? As for the food I cannot attest to it due to never being seated or even offered to order to-go. Oh well. Will not be back here for sure.
The south land park location is significantly better than this location. The blue fin Toro sashimi slices I received at south land park I was charged the price of 2 orders for only 7 slices (quantity of 1 order)... Disappointed. I do not remember the south land park location making that mistake.
This place is always consistently good. Never had a wrong or bad order. All the rolls are good but Elk Grove is my favorite. My family and I always do takeout because the restaurant is pretty small with only about 5 tables inside. I wish it was bigger so we can dine in.
