I was so excited to try this restaurant but the food was disappointing to say the least. I ordered eggs Benedict and my eggs were more like hardboiled. The yolks were hard, not even a little soft like a soft-boiled egg. My husband ordered the steak sandwich and the meat was so overcooked he had to use a knife to cut it. It was too chewy to bite into. We ate most of our food since we were hungry and the food took a really long time to come out. Maybe something was off the day we were there for lunch but we couldn't believe what we were served after reading all these great reviews. The only good item was the coffee cake so we decided to give the bakery a chance the next day. Fortunately that was definitely a better experience.
Whoever the cook was yesterday, didn't know how to scramble an egg. It was hard as a rock. The hash browns were from the freezer & the sausage was barely browned. Never going back again.
nice brunch spot in midtown sacramento.- Ordered egg benedict with traditional hams (10/10 recommend) and tacos (good too).- have cute outdoor seatings too- looks understaffed, everyone is working hard. it’s be worth the patience- they have a small pastry section inside the restaurant- affordable (compared to sf ??)
100% gluten free, every item and a whole vegan menu. We sampled the waffles, adult vegan jack cheese sandwich and breakfast sausage sandwich. All amazing! It was worth the 60 minute wait for Sunday brunch. We’ll stop by again when we’re in Sacramento. Also has nice groovy bike parking and a covered open air patio.
Highly recommend going early and getting on the waiting list.I went after some time in old sac and wqs on a wait list with 33 parties ahead of me. Aka it was busy busy.It was finally our time and my party was super stoked. Parking was really difficult to find, but somehow we found spots. The food was slow to come out and pur server only checked on us once.Thoroughly enjoyed the salads.Would go back but now I know what to expect.
Good food, good coffee and excellent service. I had the sunny-side eggs with rolled chicken tacos that was super fresh with the tomatoes, cilantro and onions that went well with the black beans, guacamole and cotija cheese, dish was a good mix of savory and had a nice kick from the jalapeños! I definitely would order it again, but will probably get the chicken & waffles next time! For a little starter we had a cranberry chocolate coffee cake that was super crumbly and had a great mix of soft and crunchy textures! Coffee wise I had an iced brown sugar latte, which was delicious and was a nice kick start to the day. My friend had the BLTA with sweet potato fries and enjoyed it very much, but was only able to finish half, so they are not skimping on the bacon! My friend also had an iced vanilla coffee and pretty much inhaled it, so I’m guessing she liked it very much!
Had breakfast here it was a nice modern environment I enjoyed the Bob Ross pumping through the bathroom I almost fell asleep tinkling I had one of their signature dishes the pork belly Benedict it was very good my only bit of constructive criticism is the hollandaise sauce could have had more flavor but it was saved with the perfect searing of the pork belly and the fat on it just melted away which added great flavor to the rest of the meal I definitely hope to come back and have their avocado toast I hear it's fire
I live really close to here and have been wanting to try it for sometime. It didn't quite live up to all the hype for me. Portions were great for how much you paid. Service was great. But the food (in my opinion) tasted very blan to me. It wasn't terrible at all! But I felt like it was lacking significant flavor. I ordered waffles, with bacon and eggs. I'll be going back again soon but try something else on the menu.
What a superb restaurant in an area of Sacramento that already has quite a few good restaurants. The staff are always so friendly, warm and helpful. The quality of everything I’ve ever had on the menu has always been too notched. It is a gluten free restaurant but everything is so very delicious! ? The restaurant itself is large and it’s beautiful and a very comfortable space. It is our family’s go to place to celebrate anything. Definitely give it a try on your next trip to Sacramento!!
I had a delicious meal at Sibling this morning. If you're a rolled taco lover, definitely order the Sunny-side Chicken Rolled Tacos. Very, very yum! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolks were so creamy while the whites were deliciously tender.I also ordered a side of bacon and it was so light & crispy! There's nothing like perfectly crispy, salty bacon!!Mmmmmmm, everything was scrumptious!!I am terrible with names but our server was a real sweetie!! But we always have great service at Sibling!! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
