Our new go to spot for Ramen! If you're looking for a solid ramen spot that is affordable, this is the place for you.
First time at Soku Ramen Bar. Will be returning ? Friendly service and vegetarian options.
Chashu Black Pork Ramen was delicious: brooth was flavorful, chashu is the best I've had in any ramen shop I've been too, noodles are perfectly cooked, portions are large.Soup dumplings were great too.Service was nice. Great price.
Terrible experience with this place.Somehow they are not able to make the order right. We specifically asked to have eggs, corn, seeweed and the fishcake in our Ramen. They lady even asked me if I wanted to add more eggs.Instead they gave us twice the exact same thing without any of the ingredients that are supposed to be inside, just noodles and meat. And it was even the wrong meat. They kept making excuses that the food doesn't look like in the menu and that they have new cooks who don't know how to prepare the dish. When I went over to talk to them in person I was yelled at by one of the cooks in their native language. At least I was given back my money. Conclusion; if you want a real ramen dish, this isn't the place. If you don't mind if it's just noodles and meat with the broth, then yes.
What a wonderful low key environment! No pretentiousness here just good food at an okay price. I've seen all ages here and everyone being pretty much courteous other than that one person on the phone who speaks three times louder than they would if the person was sitting in front of them.Tried three different dishes so far and loved every one of them.
Cute little ramen shop. Ramen serving is generous, chashu is well seasoned and thick cut, the seasoned soft boiled egg is perfect. Noodles were just right, not too soft. Perfect dinner after a cold, foggy Day.
I had the number R2 which is the spicy black chasu ramen and all I can say is wow. Everything about it was spot on from the broth to the noodles to the chasu pork and the veggies they add in there. The egg was a little bit salty but that's okay everything else in the bowl makes up for it. Especially the broth which was the best part it says it's spicy but it's not that spicy just a little but they do add little bits of jalapeños to make it spicy and the chasu pork looks like it doesn't have flavor but right when you take that first bite out of it, it's flavorful than you really think and of course super good. I'd definitely come back to this spot. Price for this ramen is not that expensive either. It's under $15 dollars and it was well worth it. If I were to truly rate it, it might be like a 9/10 just cus of the eggs being a little salty but other than that AMAZING
This will be my new go to..rajin is far too busy and this place is equally as good.. Great vegetarian options too
My favorite spot to get Ramen in Downtown! The price is hard to beat in the downtown area! Quick and friendly service and the food was great. Its tucked away from the busy streets but its fairly easy to find. Don't miss out on this place I definitely recommend giving it a try!
My group WIDER CIRCLE ate there, we can't wait to return! Food is second to none!
