SAME!!! As previous reviews….They treat you like they don’t want you in there - not friendly at ALL! First time in this spot and the vibe is super weird. No “welcome in“, no smile, no “thank you for coming in and spending your money here”, and they messed up my drink.Lastly, they let random “customers”, who appear to be friends of the workers, play behind the counter and access beverages. One chick had her DOG back there :0…Disgusting!!!

Have had my eye on this place for a while, looks like it has a nice vibe. Unfortunately I went during the week around lunch time... The customer service was mediocre and the overall vibe was non welcoming. They also didn't have a good selection of items to chose from to eat or drink. I ended up getting a vanilla latte and a bagel.I want to try again, looks like it would be fun at night.

The old shine was a coffee shop with friendly staff and great food. The new shine is where teens from the suburbs come to vape and rev their truck engines.

Literally the worst vibe and customer service I've ever experienced. I've never felt so unwelcome. The bartender shook hands with a dude OVER the top my head, ignored my waves for service 3 times even though I was the ONLY customer there besides the bartenders' dudes, NO ONE wore a mask, and they let their friends cut in front of me in the checkout line. To top it all off, their prices are some of the highest in the city for their food, and a less-than-average watered-down cold brew is not worth $6. They may use the same name as the old coffee shop, but now they're NOT even worth a glance. GO ANYWHERE ELSE for your wallet, health, and happiness.

Stumbled upon this buzzy spot while using the nearby electric charging station; casual wavelength, warm staff, stellar cuppa joe.

I felt unwelcome; the barista wasn't friendly.Hopefully, they work on their customer service. The bagel and latte were good.

Stopped in for a coffee and a quick bite. Good vibe in terms of look and feel. No greeting, smile or even a hello. Barista answered my questions and seemed very disinterested. Another guy was behind the counter, sitting in a chair, leaning back on his phone and I couldn't tell if he was an employee or just a good friend of the employee or owner. I get casual and comfortable, but a little much for a business. Menu options were very limited (compared to what is online). New to the neighborhood and overall it was a disappointing experience.

Really cool vibe, barista was friendly. Would like to come back and check out the music scene. The only reason I didn't give 5? is because their coffee is CRAZY expensive. It was almost $7 for a basic 12oz latte, which was decent, but not worth $7.

Great Place. Great batistas and customer service. Very lively vibe and just a great place to go to if you ever want to escape something and find a place to relax your mind, meet new people and make great friends. Their teas are great and really get me going and concentrated. Their vibe is great along with the euphoric drinks they have to provide. Everything here complements eachother, the owner Sam even offered me a free drink when I had an intense game of chess with him.

I liked Shine Cafe before it was sold and they changed the concept. Now every time I walk by, there are at least half a dozen people without masks inside the cafe.
