Met the ladies for a business lunch meeting and a little girl time. First time at this spot for all of us. The food was so fresh and delicious. The butternut squash soup was so fulfilling and the cucumber feta cheese salad did wonders to the palate. I highly recommend this Cafe. It has plenty of parking and so much space to sit inside and outside. Did I mention that there are misters outside. Can't wait for my next lunch date!
I came in on a busy Friday afternoon, and it was reasonably busy, but it never felt cramped. The wait time for food was great, considering the amount of people that the staff had to serve. I had a Turkey Avocado sandwich, and It was well worth the cost.
Nice place. Food was decent. Parking is bad. Had to park on the street a block away. Too many designated curb side pick up parking spaces. I counted 10. Staff was pleasant. Only reason this didn't get 5 stars was because someone thought it would be a good idea to put the sweet fruit salad on the same plate as the vinegar based bean salad. Ruined both items. I could have asked for another plate but it wasn't worth the time standing in the long line again.
Good variety of food choices. No real feel to dining experience just a space with tables to eat or drink. Hamburger was well cooked but also so thick couldn’t take a bite.
Amazing fresh delicious food. The staff are extremely nice too! I dropped a cupcake and the manager was so nice and gave me a new one.
The food was great and the staff were very friendly. You can expect to spend over $5 on a thigh or a side and about $10 on a breast or other single item. Pricey compared to other places but the food really is good.
Really good food reasonably priced. I have liked most things I have tried. I havent gone off my normal favorites routine but that's the point of eating, eat what you like. And they are good at making things I like! And a hell of a sangria. Not the strongest but flavor is on point, I almost forgot I like it so much!! Eat here and you'll come back. I did, and do, and want more fries just thinking about it. They still open?
Fun place to hang out, reasonable atmosphere. The food is really average. Soups, salads... sandwiches, whatever. Nothing standoutish and all over priced. They offer the food and you go to the front to order and pay. So definitely cafe style. But priced like full service restaurant style.
I visited for the first time today. I have heard rave reviews, so i decided to try them out. I place my order online and went to pickup my "curbside" order. No curbside, I had to go in, but that was fine. I was directed to three different areas by three different people on where to go for pickup. While waiting, a worker started assisting customers/taking orders via tablet - i was skipped, and the people they were helping arrived AFTER i did. By the time I was helped, it was 20 mins past when my order was supposed to be ready, but thankfully it was not ready yet. I finally got all checked in and decided that I would probably not come back. However, one of the managers, casually asked me how I was, I shared my experience, they apologized and I ended up leaving with an a far better impression. I will definitely be back. Thank You for changing my mind about Selland's!! BTW...the food was excellent!!Note: parking can be a nightmare!
Great food, the staff neat and clean friendly very professional. The food delicious, healthy. All around atmosphere five-star all the way. Would be a bargain at twice the price. Selland's Market Cafe is a compliment to Sacramento.
