Hard for me to give a winery a 3 stars, but have to do it here in the hopes they get better. We need these wineries. The grounds, location and service were awesome and I have no complains there. However, the wines were not good. We tried 6 wines and unfortunately there was not a single one we would enjoyed. The tasting was $20, which seems a high price for the region, I mean, this is not Napa, and the wines still need to get better to command that price. As of now, I will not be going back, but I hope they improve their wine and become a staple of the region.
Scribner Bend is an excellent winery. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. Their wines are a delight to drink. I especially recommend the Teloldego, the Italian ancestor of Zinfandel. Lush fruit excellent finish, which leaves you wanting more.
I'm discovering that Clarksburg, Ca has some vineyard gems ? Scribner is one of them. The Chardonnay draws me back!
Scribner Bend Vineyards was a gorgeous Venue held or my sister's in law's wedding. Picturesque. comfortable setting, aborable barn and fountain. Could easily hold 250. Amazing. Highly recommend.
Great place but prepare for some slow service on food if it's busy. To be fair the food is pretty tasty though ?

I miss the live music and hoped for more food options. The pip up barrel tasting today was fun though.
We attended a wedding reception here on Saturday the 30th of October and we were just amazed at everything these folks did for the wedding party. Food 5 stars. Arrangements 5 stars. Employees 5 stars and its a shame I couldn't give them 6... very professional courteous and attendant to their guests. I only wish we lived out this way so we could use their services again. Thanks Scribner Bend for making this day even better.
Good wine, good food. Nice place to to eat a cheese plate or pizza and a glass of wine.
