I have lived in the Folsom, Roseville, Citrus Heights and Sacramento area the last 5 years and have tried pretty much every sushi joint in-between. Satori happens to be my absolute favorite mid-range sushi joint in the Sacramento area when it comes to freshness, quality, and service.I have yet to try the Elk Grove location, but WOWWWW(!) the quality and freshness at the natomas location is unbeatable. High quality ingredients, a fantastic menu, great staff, and a Rare Tea boba inside.. what more can you ask for?!The location itself is your basic shopping plaza, so t be intimidated by the looks. If you blink or second guess it you will miss it. Please give them a shot if you pass by!! I personally prefer their Sushi to the more common names out here such as Mikuni, Arigatos, and Blue Nami. For $10-$15 a roll, you can’t beat it!My personal favorite is the citrus spring roll… they slice the thinnest lemon slice on top of the roll and it adds the PERFECT zest and crunch to a sushi roll! I’ll never go without it now that I’ve tried it! Might try it on a few different rolls of theirs!
The sushi was really decent for the price point. ($10-$15 a roll) Some of the pieces were cut unevenly. However I thought the fish tasted fresh And the fried oysters tasted pretty good. There is a boba place in here too and it is not bad. It is on the lower sweetness side so I would get full sweetness. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and clean.
They rip people off with the portions. Very high priced and they don't want to accommodate you in anyway if you're not satisfied. 10$ for this teriyaki chicken (kinda chewy and pretty sure the teriyaki sauce is diluted, no flavor) I was not able to get a refund, they refused. This is not the first time I've been unsatisfied, I was becoming a regular, going everyday for a taro smoothie (which I noticed also has absolutely no flavor as well) Very cheep tasting food at a high price. I picked up on the patterns and all they want is your money. Very disappointing.
The sushi is really delicious. Best sushi I’ve had compared to lots of places. The only thing that I have to be honest about is the price vs the portion. The price is really high and the portions are really small. The rice plates are awful quality and super expensive and skimpy. Again the sushi is awesome but it’s also really skimpy. A rice bowl is $14-15. Bad quality chicken and super small portion. The sushi rolls are $15 each usually and super good but super small portion.
If you are looking for a great sushi place you need to try this place, amazing food and amazing people, I love it.
Sushi is good and Rare Tea inside is a bonus. Would definitely come back to try different items on their food and drink menu.
This is some of the absolute best sushi I have ever had in my life hands down! I never leave a 5 star review let alone review a place and this sushi deserves it 100%!! Eat here!! Try the dynamite roll
Tried this place on a whim. Had it come through Doordash with no issues. The first place to get our whole order correct and to us in the past 4 orders from other restaurants. And to top it all off our food was beyond excellent. Our gyoza and shrimp tempura were still crispy! I can’t say I remember any restaurant getting crispy fried food to me without it being soggy or soft in some manner. And to top it off they gave generous sauce portions.Lastly, the sushi was excellent. I would go into detail but instead would rather leave some to mystery. I ask that everyone try this place or give it a second chance. Splendid food!
great food, great service
This was my first time eating there, the tables are spaced apart, ambience and perfect and all the rolls I devoured were very enjoyable. Staff was great and I even had a nice conversation with the owner. I'll definitely be back time and time again.
