The food was pretty good. I had the Pork chops, eggs and grits. The pork chops were well seasoned and tender. The eggs were cooked good. The grits could use a little work but not the worst that I've had. The service wasn't too great but they weren't bad either. Nice people but weren't very attentive. I definitely will come back.

We happened to see this place while running morning errands. The food is very good especially the biscuits and gravy. I had catfish with my eggs which was tasty. They served Grits which my wife and I love. The staff is friendly and attentive here. I would recommend this place to family and friends. ?
Man all I can say is phenomenal! I ate every single bite. This was my first time ever coming here every time I drive past it it’s usually packed. I’m not a big fan of country style food and restaurants I normally cook it myself but this place was amazing. The eggs were perfect easy over they were runny and hot the country potatoes were tender the biscuits and gravy was excellent. The biscuits were soft. Some of restaurants will serve you hard biscuits. Top it off I got to catfish fillets. They were piping hot and crunchy and flaky I devoured my entire plate. I will definitely be coming back!

Great food. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was very good. Also tried the jambalaya. A bit spicy for me but great flavors. My friend got the chicken fried steak and the biscuit and gravy were excellent. Get some cornbread they do it right. The mashed potatoes are excellent.
A hidden gem of Sacramento. Seriously, this is a must try. This food is great! the outside of the building and the area don't stand out much and living down the street I never stopped here until one fateful day. I wish they served mimosas because we would be here every weekend if they did. Not that they need them as they appear to always have a full house. The energy inside is fun and the staff is quick and very observant. Their food is southern inspired and warms my soul every time we go. I absolutely recommend the fried chicken and waffles! Though all their food is filling, heavy, and wonderful. It's worth a stop and should be a way bigger deal than it is. Best of all, they gave us all free tastes of their delicious pie at the end of our meal for FREE! That was the quickest way to my heart!
Never again! I literally drove almost 30mins to come eat here and was treated very poorly, It literally shocked me as we waited. Came to eat with my 3 kids and sat and watched everyone get served around us, even 3 groups of people that came after us. Was here for an hour before they brought us food & waited for 30 mins just to get drinks, and people we're coming in and getting food within 10mins. I lost my appetite and canceled my food smh
