I recently booked sac brew for my bday. My only feedback is for sac brew to hire the right people. They can definitely improve on being more friendly when giving their “list of rules” and just overall making it a more welcoming, friendly, happy vibe. And not have host that are the opposite of that. Maybe breakdown what the definition of being a “host” is? We didn’t get that from both of our host. The host announced in the beginning that our first stop is getting “phased” out, that was a bummer to hear. Probably should have told me that upon reservation? We are paying a good amount and deserve more effort from the staff. I’m open to giving this another shot in hopes to see improvement. It was still a blast mostly because my group is a fun crowd. Additionally, would be helpful if sac brew checked bar stops chosen upon reservation to ensure that there aren’t any current event going on. Our second stop had a “paint and sip” going on, and 15 of us walked in the middle of that. They were not happy. Maybe confirm before us going? Also, more bar stop options-particularly inclusive to the LGBTQ community.
This is a fun thing to do, with a like minded group! Everybody pedaling together will make it much more enjoyable. The staffers are great. Explained the rules clearly and have great patience during the tour.
We did the sac brew bike with a group of friends and it was so much fun!! Our guide Cassie was nice, fun, and kept us on a schedule which was good considering we could drink all night at one bar. You are able to bring your own ice chest or insulated bag with drinks and snacks. It's three per person so choose wisely. Our group definitely enjoyed the tour and we will be back for the 3 hour Brew bike in the spring. I definitely recommend doing something different and do this brew bike!!
Had an awesome time even though the driver was 30 min late. This is the 3 time we rode the Brew bike and it is a great way to quickly show visitors the night life in Sacramento. The drivers are very friendly and they always put a smile on your face. On the tour or you get to go to three or four different bars. Just a warning. Unless you rent the entire bike with a group of friends you do not get to drink alcohol on the bike. It doesn’t really matter you’re going to do a lot of drinking and the actual baking part is pretty short in between the bars. All in all it’s a very memorable night I highly recommend doing it.
Great way to have fun and exercise at the same time. Thank you Jimmy
Great for a group of friends/family. Good exercise and lots of laughs. The stops were very good too. Our guide was funny and his music selections (rock & roll) were perfect!
I have done this a few times now and it's always been a blast. Each time I've been taken to different bars, so it seems to change stops over time. Both bars were welcoming and had a great selection of not only beer but interesting cocktails and ciders. It's a good way to see the area, and each time others on the bike are having a great time too.
At first I thought this was going to be ridiculous. But, 'ye of little faith'. I had such a blast. We blasted tunes and visited big stump and karma brew. Fyi your peddling actually powers the cart.
So fun! Jimmy was the best.
Super fun, great bike captain, and great stops! We will be back!
