Worked all day, ordered a 4pc wings got home to find it was cooked hard and dark. Called to let them know, told to bring it back, told them just out the shower and I’ll bring it back the next day.I had tried to eat one piece so I took back 3 pcs. They cooked and gave me 3 pcs of an original 4pc, I asked can I get a complementary drink and a desert, one daughter say you can have a drink as did Ray but we can’t do the 5.00 desert the the other daughter says you can take the drink and go!! Then it became a back and forth with me and both daughters while dad(Ray) looked on, bad customer service will not go back after telling me that they were training a new cook,
Super fresh fish! Great flavor too really well seasoned. The garlic noodles were a great surprise on the menu! They have a lot of options in seafood too.
Ordered a catfish dinner & a side of fried okra. The dinner was to come with coleslaw; I received macaroni salad, The fried okra made up for not getting the coleslaw (found out they were out that night). The catfish was a little tough, but the fried okra made up for that too. Already went back to get more fried okra and tried the catfish nougats. They were delicious. I will be back! Don’t rely on GPS directions. It was worth the “hunt”.Addition: wrote above last night. Decided to go today (Sunday), a little after 1. I was told would be 15 minutes. More like 25. Shrimp PoBoy was good. I ordered fried okra and Received fried squash, but didn’t know that until home and took first bite, I was in the store and if you didn’t have okra (what I ordered) I should have been advised. I would have saved the $5. The fried squash was overly seasoned. The okra from the two previous orders were as well, but not near like today. I love fried okra & have been missing it. I was very disappointed. I may return, but it will be a long time from now.
First time eating here and the food was bomb. I ordered a 3 piece with red snapper, wings, and jumbo prawns with fried corn on the cob. You good large portions and everything tasted delicious. Customer service was excellent and they have fresh squeezed lemonade like a slushy.
My mom ate from here for the first tim...had bone in catfish, potato salad and fried corn and LOVE It! Cooked perfectly! Loved the sliced pieces but I thought the portions was small. Will partake again.
Idk who you have working at the counter but I see alot of comments referring to the kids ... the girl had an attitude the moment I walked in , kept getting our order wrong but it was somehow our fault . I also see that you don't respond to reviews and comments which leads me to believe that you know your children are like this and you allow them to run your business like this. I have a lot of brothers who eat there and they recommended you because apparently they knew you personally but my whole experience was off and it was not OK I will not be coming back and that's that I've honestly I could be honest the whole establishment and just the way we were treated it was ran was very g## tt o..... Sometimes you got a let the children go in order to run a business if it wasn't your child I don't know who she was but she was not very nice.
The fish, chicken, fries are good but there side orders like macaroni salad , coleslaw, and potato salad comes in a little container, too little.
It's gonna be a HARD pass for me. Tried this place a few days ago. Four meals total around $90 and it was absolutely BORING. No flavor on fish. The Cod was like Gordon's frozen fish strips, Fries were limp and soggy. Spaghetti was horrible. Macaroni n Cheese bites were chewy. Banana pudding contains absolutely NO BANANAS. My rating of (2) is for the potato/macaroni salad was decent. Won't be back to spend my money, but Good luck Ray's! Nice to always have a "new" chain in town.
Great food! They have a variety to choose from! From seafood to fried chicken ?? The collard greens and cornbread are really filling and I loved the dessert section! ❤️ Will definitely be back!
Another one bites the dust! Delicious, hot, fresh and friendly service! Best part is it’s in the neighborhood. I stumbled on this place from google maps lol and my mother was so happy when I surprised her with dinner. Thank you for blessing us.
