Catfish, red snapper, crab cakes, 8 piece chicken wings with mild bbq sauce, fries and potato salad.Deanna who served us who was the hostesses with the mostest!The fish was seasoned exceptionally well. Cajun tartar sauce with the fries, the best!!! Best fries I've had. The crab cakes were my favorite! Fresh and crispy. I don't usually like potato salad...but this one tastes homemade out of my grandmother's kitchen. Will be back
Love the chicken, Greens, fish, coleslaw was good as well. My hubby loved his food. The only thing I didn't like was the cornbread. It was too sweet. It tasted like cake. Way to sweet.
It was good the menu is big but simple. Loved the customer service as well. Be ready for the dessert though.
I have been here about 4 times seafood portions and seasoning are super great value. Every time I go and finish my foodMy happiness and appreciation grows.I have to make myself try more menu items. The chicken ? probably after the snapper again.So many choices a real 5 star in my book, so far all goodness!
Idk who you have working at the counter but I see alot of comments referring to the kids ... the girl had an attitude the moment I walked in , kept getting our order wrong but it was somehow our fault . I also see that you don't respond to reviews and comments which leads me to believe that you know your children are like this and you allow them to run your business like this. I have a lot of brothers who eat there and they recommended you because apparently they knew you personally but my whole experience was off and it was not OK I will not be coming back and that's that I've honestly I could be honest the whole establishment and just the way we were treated it was ran was very g## tt o..... Sometimes you got a let the children go in order to run a business if it wasn't your child I don't know who she was but she was not very nice.
First time here. We ordered catfish nuggets, came with choice of salad and side, I chose macaroni salad and okra. Also ordered fillets with fries and hush puppies, then some peach cobbler. Where do I begin? Didn’t get the macaroni salad. Didn’t get fries instead all hush puppies. One star because the okra was good. Everything else no. No flavor on the nuggets, man I missed the macaroni salad. I never ever get macaroni salad from anywhere but took a chance I won’t be taking again. The peach cobbler wasn’t sweet the crust isn’t buttery, just bland. Very disappointed. Thanks but no thanks.
They put carrots in the gumbo but no okra, rue or filé. The red beans has zero seasonings... no onion, garlic, pepper, or salt. The rice was gummy & overcooked. Not very good at Soul Food. Next time I'll try a seafood bag.
The service was great. They are very busy. I had to wait a few minutes, but the food was worth the wait. Fish was fried to perfection. Zucchini was really good.

I was disappointed my first visit here. In my opnion it was not good at all. The fries were the only thing I liked. The wings were dry. The "king crab" was very mediocre with not much meat inside. The peach cobbler tasted more like cinnamon cobbler with peach. The sauce for the boil was not good at all (in my opinion) it'll definitely be our last. But the service was good.
