No complaints about the food the food was actually amazing but the service was absolutely terrible! Our server was not friendly, extremely rude no kind of personality we ask for lemon to put on our edamame she asked why in disgust and asked again if we are sure, gave us 2 slivers of lemons that were not squeezable I asked again to get squeezable lemons she replied “you can’t just squeeze it like that” I will not be coming back here again

I recently ordered take out from this restaurant — a chashu don and spam musubi. The chashu don was one of the single worst meals I have had in YEARS. I'm not exaggerating — that bad. For $15, I received 5 paper thin slices of pork... But not just any pork, and not even good chashu! No, I received extremely undercooked, overly fatty, and egregiously salty paper-thin slices. I suppose it is some comfort that the slices were so thin since if they were thicker I would probably have had to go to the hospital for a sodium imbalance after the single bite I took. The spam musubi is a quintessential Japanese dish. This restaurant makes it seem more like a quintessential Japanese torture method. The spam was undercooked, extremely greasy (probably cooked on the same surface as the pork), and the rice used was both of poor quality and in too much quantity. Seriously, the rice falls apart like dust, but they put so MUCH of it that ultimately, after half of the rice falls off while eating, you can feed an entire family with your leftover rice!I suppose the quality of my food is because I ordered something other than ramen from a restaurant named Ramendou. That being said, I have never had an issue with non-ramen items at any other ramen restaurant. I am all for giving a restaurant a second chance, but I'm not sure I'll be doing that any time soon.

I'm not sure why there's no Daikokuya in Sacramento like we do in SoCal, but if you're in Sac Town and looking for ramen, this place could be the closest you could find. Had their Signature Ramen and the broth had decent flavor. Nice and quick service too. Could just be the time of the day when I was there, but i was well attended to. Would love to come back to try other things on their menu. (Parking is free for an hour according to the sign posted in the parking lot). I spent over $30 because i ordered another dish to go and also had a hot Thai tea.

We have been getting Ramendou takeout since they opened and the food has been consistently delicious. However, they are pretty conservative with their ingredients (namely, proteins). The veggie dishes usually only come with 1-2 pieces of tofu and tonight my masaman was missing it entirely. Also, when expecting several shiitake mushrooms, I got only a single half a cap. This is despite a $15 total after 10% tip. We'll keep supporting due to the quality and consistency of what you do get, but nothing stinks more than getting home to find part of your meal missing.

New favorite ramen place! Foods always good, and staff is immensely polite. Tons of great choices and the atmosphere is perfect. Great value for amount of food!

Seafood ramen was tasty and delicious... too little broth though... musubi rice was too thick but had some fillings in between and also tasty... will order ramen again to try other varieties.

Looks Yummy! & Tastes Yummy! :) They had the “Grand Opening” sign but they’ve been open for more than 10Months!Seafood Ramen noodle is quiet good. Not too salty or sugary. (picture: The one with seaweed).Cute neat Japanese Ramen noodle shop!

Food was so amazing, honestly best ramen I have ever tried.the restaurant it’s so clean and the staff are so nice.

I got the eel bowl. The portion was very generous, I ate it for lunch and dinner. Fresh ingredients and flavored nicely. I also really like the cabbage salad that came with my meal, I’m interested to try other items here now! Great customer service and cute decor.

Really good newer Ramen restaurant. Taste great and good service. They had a nice selection and you can choose normal or thin ramen noodles.
