first time visiting this place with colleagues. We all enjoyed our lunches, the food was tasty. The tables needed a wipe down other than that it was fantastic. I will be back!

We went to this restaurant expecting a great experience with the good reviews online. Once we got onto our train ride home we noticed mold on one of our burgers. It’s a shame we were charged an arm and a leg for moldy food. If you value your health and immune system don’t buy your burgers from this restaurant during your visit to Old Sacramento.

Went there with family and I got the fish tacos. Boyfriend got the clam chowder in the bread bowl, his son got a corn dog and fries, and my brother got the jalapeno burger with fries and a beer and a soda. All this together came out to only $60 and it was generous portion sizes and really good food. My boyfriend said it was one of the better sourdough breads that they use for the Bowl that he'd ever tasted and my fish tacos had great flavor to it. Overall good food good prices

This place is amazing especially if you love fish. To be honest I have never eaten catfish and liked the taste, and believe me I've tried, after coming here though and trying their catfish it was really good and I can't wait to get another order!! This place is really cool with friendly staff. Can't wait to come again.

Fish and chips were restaruant price, but were pretty medicre. The batter, the fish, and the chips were pretty bland: some basic salt and pepper before and after cooking would've done the trick. Would've like a lemon to squeeze on the fish too.

Best fish and chips of the city. Really good burguers and clam chowder as well. There has been some crime around lately. I wouldn’t let my kids or wife go very late by themselves.

Always great food. Excellent service. And very nice to sit in old town and people watch while you eat your burger. Clam chowder bowls are very good also.

Railroad Fish and Chips has been a stalwart operation on the promenade of the Old Sacramento Waterfront for a long time. The trials of the pandemic have actually expanded their operation to include the former dining room as part of their preparation and storage area. The food is always top notch for good eats. The fish and chips as I experienced tonight were fried perfectly. I also purchased a bowl of clam chowder offered in both a bowl or a bread bowl. It was warm and creamy. Perfectly cooked. Seating can be a premium. The tables are situated along the street side of the boardwalk allowing a vista of the local street scene...in our case the holidays in full swing adjacent to the historic districts Christmas light show. While there are tables, they are only under the covered walk of the overall building. Indoor dining no longer exists. Additionally there are tables behind the structure however the evening we were there, no one was back there. The place for us is a holiday tradition. The sights and sounds...good food and quick service makes this place a must stop place for anyone in the area.

Took a chance there for breakfast before a meeting. I was very happy with the service and especially the food! Bacon, eggs, potatos best breakfast in months!

Really good Prawns, fish and chips and Clam chowder bread bowl!
