Ahhhhazing service!!! Great food !! And fresh cocktails
This trip was my first trip to Sacrament and I do t know the area so I wanted to stay in a reputable hotel where I would feel safe. The hotel is beautiful! It is well kept, it’s clean, the bed was comfortable and we stayed in the 22nd floor. The view was amazing. The staff were very kind and helpful. They really went above my expectations. The next time I come back Sheraton Grand Hotel will definitely be the place I stay.
I chose this hotel because it was one of those closest to my work conference. I decided to stay here as it was the most affordable and accessible at the time. The room is super comfortable and felt as though the hotel was run well -- from the staff, to the amenities, restaurants, parking, etc. The only thing was that the hotel desk clerk said (upon checking in) that the breakfast buffet was $15, but realized the day of that it was $25 a person. I was at a budget, especially for work, so that was an eye opener. Still had breakfast as I only had a few minutes to space to head to the conference. The good thing is that the hotel took off $10 from my final bill. So that fixed it. Because of this, I rate this hotel as excellent! I would stay here again, and will actually try their breakfast buffet again as it was quite good actually. But not sure about the $25 per person, I think it's worth $18 to be honest.
Very nice rooms Clearly over usual US Sheraton‘s Location is ok as well Staff is friendly All as it just should be Recommend!
Came here for a festival and me and my team were treated amazing. The management team, Greg and Caitlin took amazing care of me and the hospitality was just amazing. The team loved the stay, the rooms were great and the staff made us really feel at home. Definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure.
We have an annual conference in Sacramento and have been using this hotel for several years. Last week was our first conference in a couple of years and it was so disappointing. Check in was very slow. About 30 people in line. They had 4 clerks and then 2 of them disappeared. So it took a very long time to check in. Rooms badly need updating. Carpets in the elevators and hallways have not been cleaned in many years and are very dirty. Trying to call the front desk or room service was ridiculous - no one answers the phone. Mattress and pillows were lumpy and smelled funny. For breakfast, the restaurant only offered the $25 buffet, not the other items on the menu. All in all, if I had a choice, I would never stay here again
I am a Gold Elite Bonvoy Member. During my check-in I received the worst service I have ever experienced. The receptionist Miriam did not greet me but asked me "what I want" while the gentleman next to me received outstanding service. I would hope this had nothing to do with how we each look. He was a white male and I am not. While the receptionist next to me explained to him the layout of the hotel, nearby attractions, where the pool is located etc. Miriam printed my key cards (expressionless) handed them to me and said your done. Needless to say this was a horrible experience and I will not return to this property.
Beautiful place to stay with great food and friendly staff.
Do not stay here. Whatever you do. We had pre-paid reservations, arrived to check in at 3 p.m. were told they were too busy to get us check in by 4 p.m. and would not have access to a room we had already for (our event was at 4). Not only could we not check in, we could not get dressed for our event. We were told to check in via phone (did not work) and via the website, also not working. So we went to our event and returned to OUR PREPAID ROOM. So at 11:10 p.m. were told there was no room. They had overbooked. They told us we could drive 10 miles up the freeway in the direction we had just come to stay at a lesser hotel for the same price. No comp, no apology. Nothing. I just spoke with Dennis G the general manager who said nothing other than repeating (as he were on the witness stand) that they offered to relocate us. He also gave me a general 800 number to call if I wanted to press the issue. It's the general corporate call center and yes I'm still on hold. The only recourse I seem to have at this point is to warn others. Do NOT stay here.
Not so Grand, or Where a great brand goes to die. There is virtually no housekeeping or maintenance staff. So, the property is dirty. Trash overflowing in the common areas, dirty towels piled up and strewn about the gym, and the carpets in the elevators look like some dumped a back of cookies and stomped on them. Of course there is not daily cleaning service so it’s operated more like a dirty serviced apartment than a hotel. This also means in room coffee and towels are not refreshed. Oh, and the espresso maker in the lounge doesn’t work and I’m told it was reported days ago so coffee in the morning is also a chore to find. Where are the managers to set the standards and ensure a basic level of hygiene? Are the owners milking the profits at the expense of the guests? Marriott, when was the last time you shopped/inspected this property. Failures at ever level. The pluses: the front desk staff are friendly and service oriented. The gym, while at times disgusting (dirty towels everywhere) is quite well equipped. All in all, for the price and broken service expectations you’re better off saving the money and stay at a nearby lower tier property that might actually pay attention to cleanliness.
