We came on Monday at noon, crowed. We tried many items. The canh chua (sour soup with cat fish), lamb noodle soup are delicious. Recommended. Rice plate is ok. The apperizer plate has 5 items, the beef teriyaki was good, the deep fried items were not crispy, under cooked. Not recommend the mushroom bobchoy, milk tea was too sweet, and Vietnamese pancake was super tough.
Broth is very plain, taste like they just added water to the pot. You can still taste the tap water. By looking at my pho dish, you can tell that the broth isn't good, by how cloudy yet plain the broth is. I asked to msg to boost my dish flavor a bit so I can at least have the appetite to finish my dinner, but they say they do not give out msg like that. Unfortunately, I didn't finish my food because it did not taste good. Yet, it's my first time trying them out, too. Services was great and friendly though. We saw a craving in the ceiling and one crawling in the ground. I wouldn't be coming back or recommend it.
Good food here, I ordered Bun Bo Hue and it was really good. Service is quick and the food was very tasty. I would return again. Thank you for the good food and service.
Try the place out today with the lamp pho. Haven't try lamp pho before. It tasty but the smell of it little strong. If you like lamp, you should be ok with this pho. Price went up since my last visit.
Delicious vegetable pho. They actually give you a lot of veggies ? Very filling, variety of portion sizes, delicious broth, kind and quick staff. Will be back!
(PLEASE READ) DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ACCUSED OF TAKING BACK YOUR OWN TIP MONEY! The 1 Star is not because of the food. The food is great and has always been great. The 1 star is because of the way we were treated after we finished paying (MESSAGE FOR FRONT COUNTER LADY) This part is for the front counter lady, I know you're going to be reading this because you are the only one in that restaurant that speaks fluent English so please read carefully because I know you don't look very carefully. A TIP IS A KIND GESTURE BASED ON THE SERVICE OF THE RESTAURANT, NOBODY IS OBLIGATED TO LEAVE A TIP. YOURE ONLY REQUIRED TO PAY FOR YOUR BILL. So even if I did grab back my tip money (WHICH I SHOULD OF WHEN I WALKED IN) you should NEVER walk out of the restaurant and knock onto a customers window and accuse them of doing something like that. You're embarrassing and disrespectful AF! I will now live everyday with regrets as I should of took back that tip money when I walked in and gave it to the homeless sitting on the corner of the street. He would of definitely appreciated it more than your rude a**. (STORY TIME/ WHAT HAPPENED) After my girlfriend and I were finished eatting we paid and left a tip on the table, we processed to walk out as I forgot my beanie at the table so i asked my girlfriend to go grab it for me so I can warm up the car as we were sitting in the car the front counter lady walks out of the restaurant and knocks on my car window saying "did you just walk back and grab the tip money from your table?" We both looked at eachother confused. I thought she said someone walked by and took our tip money but no she repeated herself in a rude and disrespectful tone. My girlfriend said "no" and the disrespectful lady then said "oh well it's not there anymore" as she's walking back into the restaurant my girlfriend and I just sat there in disbelief. I can see my table from where I parked so I'm walking the disrespectful front counter lady walking up to our table and realizes that THE TIP MONEY IS SITTING ON THE TABLE. When I tell you I have never been so hot in my life. I walked into the restaurant and confronted her all she said was "from the angle I was standing it looked like she took the tip money back" mind you that you have to walk past our table to get to the front door.
Best Vietnamese food in California.
This place used to be really good, if not the best. I ordered bun bo hue recently and it was not good at all. The meat tasted funny, and the broth was very bland.
Honestly the best Pho in the region. You have to come on down to little Saigon and this place in particular for the real stuff that tastes so good. Great on a cold day, great when you have a sore throat, just very good food. While I am not a fan of Coriander or Cilantro, I still really enjoy the soup here. This place is very popular but despite the amount of people the soup comes out quick. They prefer cash. The food is very affordable. For less than $15 you get filled up with their largest size bowl.
Large portion. But the soup could be more favorable. With the extra large #1 bowl, adding the bean sprouts, lime juice, the soup favor disappeared. Servers were extremely helpful but could not help the food. It's not terrible, but definitely could be easily better.
