Really so dirty place!!! They not doing wash the vegetables!!! terrible experience
It has been years since I have eaten food here, but I remember it being so good. I went back to try this place with my friend for a late lunch. He ordered pho noodles with chicken broth, and I ordered bun rieu. The servers were kind and attentive to us. The food was served almost immediately after we ordered, which I thought was suspicious. The food was pretty decent in taste, texture, and temperature. After paying for the food and leaving, he and I both started to have severe stomach pain. He almost vomited, and I also feel like vomiting. We did not eat before coming here, so we know that this food must be the source of our pain. I took Gas X and Pepto Bismol, and my pain has not subsided. We will not be coming back here again.
I ordered the pho ga and it was terrible. The broth tasted like artificial sweetener. It's very strange. And there's not enough broth to be called "soup" - should be called "moist noodles." The chicken was all strange pieces and wasn't tasty.There was no cilantro, no fried onion, no lime wedge.But the worst was the odd flavor of the broth, like I'm having Splenda with moist noodles.One of the worst bowls of pho I've ever had. And I wonder what happened, because years ago this place was okay.
Fast. Friendly service. Delicious. Loved the spring rolls.
The atmosphere at this restaurant was amazing. Covid rules are in place.The workers treated you with respect and spoke to you in a different manner however it was a more current way of talking to people and customers were able to relate. In addition, they appear to care for your well being. And the Pho was excellent.. Thnx.
NEW UPDATE as of 1/9/22: several of their staff are out due to covid (according to a sign on their door). There is no dine in service, but you can sit outside on the patio and they bring food to you in plastic containers.I ordered the pho with tendon and rare steak. It's the same quality as before, and the order came out just as fast. They give you your bean sprouts, thai basil, jalapeños, and lime in a sandwich bag. If more than one person orders pho, you each get your own bag of sides.For pho, they only come in MEDIUM. But it still filled me up! I bussed my own table/threw away my bowl in a nearby trashcan. I'm not sure if they clean the tables outside so bring a wipe if you are concerned.Best wishes to this small business. I drove 35 min to eat this pho and I will do it again because it's the best pho in Sacramento region.
Unsanitary place! The girl upfront had touched the rubber mat, changed garbage liners, then touched my order (the plastic bag which has bean sprouts, jalapeño & lime inside it) and put it inside the container of the pho noodles. I had asked her if she had changed her gloves & wash her hands, “she said, Yes I washed my gloves”. I told her she should change her gloves & wash her hands prior to touching food. She just completely ignored what I said & hand me over my order!I called & spoke w/ the manager & told her to educate their employees regarding sanitation, since they are in food industries. I told her what had happened. She said, I will let them know. I said to the manager just make it sure you did otherwise I will report them for unsanitary practice to the BBB! Especially, they had posted few of their employment were exposed to COVID!I will never come back in this place again!!! Disgusting place!!!
My favorite pho spot in sacramento. They're quick, friendly and the pho is so yummy. I normally go at least once a week. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday so keep that in mind...I made the mistake of just showing up forgetting their hours. I've become somewhat of a regular and always get the C3 rare steak. Its always a great bowl, no complaints!
Bun Bo hue spicy beef soup was really, really good and super fast delivery ? meats, noodles and veggies were very carefully packed for take out. Would highly recommend!
