Amazing food! Everything was nicely seasoned and the nước chấm was perfection. The noodles even by themselves tasted good and had the perfect amount of softness and chewiness. When a place is known for there noodles little things like that mean a lot. This is by far the best Hoa Viet in Sacramento.

The food is very mediocre in my opinion but nothing to complain about immensely. The portion sizes are big and the ambiance isn't bad. I wouldn't go here because I craved a specific dish though...but it's nice that they're open so late. The pho is...okay. The gỏi is 5/10 because the cabbage is kind of bitter but I don't know what I expected.

I really enjoy their sandwiches and fried rice. Though everything I’ve ordered from here has been tasty. The people are friendly, and always remember your like and dislikes if you are a regular.

Okay, after reading multiple reviews I decided to give this place a try. I ordered large pho with rare beef. That was a huge mistake ?. The bowl is very large, I didn’t make much of a dent in it. Out of habit I added hoisin. Fortunately I didn’t add a lot. I think I just like the color. ??‍♀️ I like multiple things here including all tables are at least 6 feet apart! All staff have masks on. They provide bring chop sticks, fork and the cute little spoon. My server explained all the sauces, hoisin, fish sauce. I had to laugh when he told me in his country the really spicy one is hotter at home.I gave it 4 stars because I couldn’t tell if sauces are changed after each patrons. Multicultural music is great.

I did a order to go yesterday and came in to pay. The cashier didn’t gave back my debit card which I was not aware until the next day. I have to call them just to find out that my card is there after several attempts to talk to someone. I call back asking for the manager and they keeps telling me the manager is not here. I haven’t been there for a long time since covid hit and now their services is just so bad.

I Came here Friday, November 19, 2021 at around 3pm. The service was fast. The staff are friendly. The food was delicious. But I felt like everything was a little to sweet for my taste. I just give it 3 stars because I had to ask for the condiments and utensils. The waitress should’ve offered and not assume what I wanted/ needed. But overall good experience.

The yang chow fried rice is very good. Its probably my most favorite fried rice dish. It's tied with Co Do's fried rice as best fried rice I've ever ate. There's plenty of meat in the fried rice dish. It's a big portion. If you like fried rice then you'll love this. I also love the bbq pork chow fun. There's plenty of big pieces of pork. The noodle is thick and there's plenty of it. My girlfriend liked the #16 pho. There was also a ton of meat. The broth was still hot when we got home. She said it was tasty and hit the spot. Flavor for everything was good. The price has gone up but so has almost every other restaurant. The parking lot is a nightmare. The spaces seem almost too small. Park farther away if you don't want people dinging your doors. But at night, don't park too far. There are many ladies of the night walking around. Don't talk to anyone or give directions when the sun goes down. Super sketchy. This place was loaded with door dashers when I came to pick up my food. It was very hectic but the employees had a handle on it. I phoned in my order and was told 15 to 20 mins. There were probably 6 door dashers when I walked in. We were served in order. So after they were all taken care of, it was my turn. All together, I placed my order at 7 pm and was handed my hot and fresh food at 730 pm. So, about a 30 min wait because there were so many door dashers. Not too bad on my opinion. If you eat here, you'd probably get your food faster than me.The employees were all working very hard and fast trying to get everyone taken care of so we could all be in and out. It's been a long time since I've been to Hoa Viet. Everyone seems more polite, unlike in the past. Their customer service seems to have gotten better. I will definitely come back. I recommend you eat here if you like Asian food and especially if you LOVE Vietnamese food, like I do.

Food looked questionable so did not touch it AT ALL. Went to get a refund and they said they won’t.They were also rude and said “we don’t know if I touched it.” It was VERY obvious I only open the lid to look at the bad food quality. Was Not looking to get salmonella because I was hungry. When I first called them, and they knew it was doordash, they still told me to bring it in because I wanted a refund. When I went there, they didn’t want to give me a refund. Why would you waste my time and effort to drive there just so you can deny a refund, when you saw that the food was completely UNTOUCHED. Terrible service. Will never go there again.

Great food!! Very friendly. It was my first time there. Will go again for sure
