When I did a Google search for places to eat nearby when my car was at the dealership, this didn't really show up on the search and I don't know why.While walking down the street I saw the sign and decided to direct my family to stop by here instead. Am I glad I did.The decor is typical for a small business, not fancy, not shabby.The food was excellent. They had a wide variety to choose from. We purchased a little of everything to all try. Hamburger was great, I had the 3 piece fish and chips. Teriyaki chicken and beef, calamari.The fish was battered and fried perfectly. It wasn't over cooked, it wasn't greasy. Same with fries and calamari. The chicken and beef teriyaki rice bowl was just as delicious. The sauce was not too oily or glazey. The chicken and beef were grilled just right. The hamburger was I think a pre-made patty but still fresh tasting and delicious. Lettuce and tomatoes were crisp and fresh.I am so glad that we decided to go here instead of a traditional chain. Definitely recommend it. Keep up the quality and good work!
Been going here for years. The best fish and chips ive ever had in the US. Fish is always fresh and cooked perfectly, as well as vege skewers, teriyaki bowls, and their other seafood menu items. Super nice couple owns and runs this place. A+++
I really enjoyed the food here. The fish was perfectly cooked, the fries were crispy, and the shrimp was more shrimp than bread!
Wow!!! The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable!! I got the 1 fish, 4 prawns meal with fries with a coleslaw for less than $10. The seafood was crispy, fresh, not greasy, and just the right amount of flavor!! Fries were good and the coleslaw meshed perfectly with my meal. The owner is very nice and personable too!! I can't wait to try other menu items!

Amazing experience. John is a stellar employee, the sauces are great, fish is fresh and crispy, price is just right, and I really have absolutely not a single thing to complain about. Absolute 5/5 stars.
Nice guys and probably the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Prawns were fresh and delicious as well. I will try the crab cake next time.
Excellent Fish’n’Chips place!! Fish is crispy and light, chicken strips are great too!! My GF and I ate here after kayaking down the river and I can say great service and excellent food is served here.
Been coming here for years..John and his wife are wonderful folks along with their staff. Foods consistent.
We used to visit at least once a month. We moved about 17 years ago, but now, we are back and have experienced the same cleanliness and quality as before. Like most, we think this is the best fish and chips in Sacramento.
