This is gotta be one of my favorite places for Italian up in the Sacramento area. Service was excellent, Along with a great ambiance. Everything tasted great The pasta was 1st ahead of the pizza... The raspberry cheesecake is a must. We'll definitely have to be back to try more things.

Beautiful restaurant. Variety of food choices. Great for a big group. Cafeteria style. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food came out quickly.

Unfortunately they were closed for lunch the day I went by but I've been several other times. This review reflects previous experiences...I had my first White Linen here - a beautiful refreshing gin, elderflower cucumber cocktail. Their pizza is amazing, make sure to order their house made ranch - or whatever term they refer to it. And their beet salad is tasty.

Someone gifted me a club side pick-up. It was 2 chicken dinners, awesome bread with side of oil & vinegar & 2 cute desserts in mason jars, one was a banana like pie & the other a strawberry pie like dessert. Also a bottle of white wine, it was so awesome! Gifted, so I don't know how much it cost but it was all great & delicious!!!

The OBO is a walkup and order type place with a healthy and hearty menu. One favorite seemed to be their Meatballs, but the list of menu options is long - including some very nice looking salads. I opted for a turkey club sandwich served on whole wheat focaccia bread. They have a wide wine selection and I enjoyed their choice of a Cabernet, and my partner had a Chardonnay - all of it was great. They also serve a wood fired pizza which the kids enjoyed. Its a very busy place and their take out business is extremely active. The noise level can be challenging at times, but its a lovely venue and you will enjoy the visit.

The pizza, dessert and wine were all great. The staff was helpful and friendly. I like that there's indoor and outdoor seating. I love the "self served" option for tea, lemon water and regular water. The only thing I'd highly recommend they change is for them to serve COLD wine please. I don't want warm wine ?

Lots to choose from but hot food looked over cooked. Broccoli was over cooked and so was the salmon and chicken. Meatballs were good but not heated enough. Pizza was good but not great. OBO Caesar salad was crispy good. It is a good place to get a quick meal that is decent but it will not knock your socks off. Pricing is reasonable

Boss and waiters at the top. We had a very nice evening. Good advices about food and wine. Very friendly !

I've been here three times now and they have never disappointed. So far we've lived there chicken picata, the trip sandwich, the short rib ragu pasta, the bolognese pasta, and the mac&cheese. We've had the cheesecake and the strawberry jar dessert. All delicious. The polenta was a little weird (too much cream?) It kinda tasted and looked like scrambled eggs. But otherwise, excellent good. It's expensive, but a nice treat.

Used to love this restaurant and come here all the time. We had a bad experience about two months ago with a meal that wasn’t very good. This was in January 2022, and Obo’ (along with the rest of the country) was struggling to keep employees. Their hours were cut and they were always packed. No biggie, it happens sometimes. Definitely a red flag though, as we like to support businesses who treat their employees well. About a month ago, we got a meal from here that was inedible. We went home, loaded it up with spices and sauce (trying our best to save the meal), to no avail. We called the restaurant to make a complaint. They were very kind and offered us a comp card with more money on it than the price of our meal. They also sent us a hand written apology which was so kind. On Friday, we decided to spend the comp card and get obo again…. What a mistake that was. We were horribly sick all day Saturday and couldn’t sleep through the night. On Sunday we got a diagnosis of food poisoning from the urgent care. It’s now Monday afternoon and we still feel horrible. We’ve barely eaten since. We had to cancel plans with friends and work. By far the worst case of food poisoning I’ve ever had or seen. I don’t know if this problem is because their staff is new, or they just don’t care because it’s a minimum wage job. My partner and I are both really disappointed to finally be saying this, but we will NOT be returning to this restaurant, and will be encouraging our peers not to eat here either.
