Always unique and an extravagant experience in Sacramento !Our servers (I’ve been here 3+ times) have always been attentive and go above and beyond.Their menu rotates and so you will never be bored, there’s always something new to try and even if it sounds questionable on the menu, once you eat it, you become a fan!Having said that, if you see pasta on the menu- get it ! They’re exceptionally well made (hand-made).Great wine selection and when you specify the occasion they can print menus with the party’s name/occasion as you wish! Very attentive to details and overall great ambiance.
Everything was beyond stellar. The trifecta: food, service, & vibe.Food: We ordered the baby artichoke appetizer, scallop entrée and steak entrée; all dishes were scrumptious and we even got an amuse-bouche from the chef.Service: This is the WOW factor. Sat immediately at a nice spot, everyone greeted us a happy anniversary. The menus were even customized with a greeting. The server was knowledgeable about the food. When the sun came out and hit my back, I didn't even have to tell them; they just opened an umbrella and asked if we were okay. Everyone is just so much nicer and happier compared to my hometown which made our vacation and anniversary more memorable.Vibe: it's quite unique and welcoming. Set in a historic firehouse with an fresh outdoor atmosphere.It's been a while since I was this impressed with all aspects of a restaurant. Keep it up and thank you to the Mulvaney's B&L team for making our dinner memorable.
Both the service and the food were outstanding. Our server, Ryan, took very great care of us and even laughed with us. Now, let’s talk about the food. We did the small plates and walked away feeling full and happy. This was a happy circumstance to stop in here. I highly recommend this place for a unique experience.
Superb food and a fantastic experience! Just a regular Thursday, me flying in from a conference, my husband picking me up, "let's have dinner" kind of night. Devon, our server, immediately grasped our willingness to have an adventure. We split appetizers, soup course, primi piatti and entree, with Devon providing excellent wine pairings. He's bold, be prepared to have the obvious choices overruled in favor of something truly off the beaten path but EXCELLENTLY done. An initial amuse bouche and a final pastry bit were very nice touches. You do not have to have a big plan for a meal here to become special, all the staff seemed so enthused about providing a top notch evening.
Great food and service. Went there with my brother to have dinner. SJ, our waitress, was great . She was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped us with selections and then with wine. Our cheese tray was great. Then we had a pasta and pork small plate which was excellent. Followed by halibut and macadamia nuts. Everything was great. The food was great. The service was great and the environment was great. Go here when you can.

OMG! Amazing! The atmosphere is so great. It's in an old firehouse. Our server Michael was fabulous! We had many courses that we shared so we could try more items. It was such a great experience! Everything was absolutely delicious!
Booked dinner for three. Got lucky a private room. Pork chop fabulous. Best in the city. Smoked salmon was exceptional. Good service. Parked a few blocks away. But food was best I’ve had in Sacramento
Another spectacular meal at Mulvaney’s! Unbelievable cocktails from Dan, appetizers and entrees that didn’t last long enough because the three of us devoured them, and great service from Michael. And some of the most relaxing ambience in Sacramento dining circles. Thanks so much for making us so happy that we ventured out for an indoor, perfect meal. See you all again soon!
