from 8-2, the service is outstanding. after that, no management and the elfs will play !
I forgot about Mr. Perry's. We used to go there all the time and we're glad to find out it's still open. This is the kind of Coffee Shop diner where the waitresses have been there a while, know their business and call you "Honey". We both had good inexpensive basic breakfasts. Eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and toast. The coffee was decent too. I'm putting Mr. Perry's back in my breakfast out rotation.
Happened upon mr perrys by chance due to car trouble of alpll things. I was surprised to see they were open as i had seen theyd fallen victim to pandemic or so id heard. It took several hrs for my friend with car trouble contact getting ahold of one of us to help car problem. She was alone , at night and most of yesterday in absczry situation and the perrys staff was nothing but kindnand compassionate .. I finally got thete and while we waited for truck we hzd cheese cake and fries to go. They served usbin timely manner and had my fries hot and ready to go in timr for us to hrqd out the door in plenty of timeb for us to head strzightbout as soon as he pulled up.Happy youre back- j&p
Here it is folks, another good old-fashioned coffee shop that serves three good meals a day! The staff is friendly the food is good and there is plenty to choose from. I often go out of my way to find locally owned diners and coffee shops, this is one to keep on my list. Enjoy
Absolutely Delicious! Seated right away and even though they were busy there Customer Service was Excellent. My meal was Amazing. Definitely will be going Back.
Arrive early for a cheap breakfast (6-8am) & enough for two people. Coffee fresh & food okay. I remember Mr. Perry's while trucking with my father 40 yrs ago. Still the same atmosphere but in the 21st century.
My Wife and I love Mr Perry's Coffee Shop in South Sacramento. We always sit in Patty's section. She is a fabulous Server and the food is fantastic. For a Great experience eating out, I recommend Mr Perry's.
This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to here in South Sacramento. It's a classic Mom and Pop place with old time atmosphere. You see A LOT of regulars there. The food and service are outstanding!!! Go on an empty stomach because the portions are HUGE! My favorite breakfast is the Eggs Benedict which never disappoints. Every time we go on my birthday, I get a discount and free dessert.This is the type of restaurant we love to support, because it's local and has been there forever.I forgot to mention that it's clean and cozy. If you're looking for somewhere to eat that had great old fashioned atmosphere, the Mr. Perry's is the place!!!
Food is great.. The waitress was super nice. When you are nice you get tips. She earned hers. We had a large party. We all got our food in a timely manner as well.
Ohhhhh gosh! My roommate went to Mr. Perry 's years ago and loved it. Soo, of course we're hungry and decided to give it a try. We do pick up. I had a very hard time finding it the place and when I did a tree was obscuring the sign (it was night time). Parked and went in. This was about 6:30pm. Not a soul inside. The restaurant appeared very dated and worn out. my order was ready. Cashier was very nice and helpful. Ok. So I get home and open the bags up, starving by this point. My housemate said that hamburger and fries were good except for the fries. They were very limp and so pale. Roommate had the 6oz prime rib medium and a baked potato. It looked like a hot mess. Potato was wrapped in foil with the butter and sourcream on the side. Visually unappealing. Prime rib looked horrible and in my book tasted worse. It was terrible but I guess for $10 what would you expect. Ok now on to my meal...a club sandwich. Turkey was ok. Bacon was ice cold. Lettuce and tomato was ok. Bread was hardly toasted. Now on to the Mayo. The cheapest you could ever find. It was terrible!!! It made an otherwise acceptable sandwich totally inedible!!! I love clubs but this was a total disapointment. A waste of money. Threw it away... The fries-limp and cold. Obviously I will never return. I hate to give bad reviews, but this one is well deserved. Sorry Mr Perry's. My sympathies.
