430pm on a Saturday. Decided to give this weird hours (no morning donuts?)place a shot. Well…it was bad. Only 5 flavors of old donuts available. A bunch of employees standing in the doorway of the backroom NEVER even greeted us. Stood there for a while and never got asked for my order. No customers in the building so that wasn’t the issue. Cleanliness was questionable. This place needs to close now and save themselves the remaining investment. Good luck!
Super disappointed. We ordered these two Sweet potatoes corn dogs. Obviously they were overburned. The worker did not say anything. We should have checked before we left but I trust the shop. However, the sweat potatoes were so burned and tasted bitter. Unfortunately it did not worth for me to drive back for 10 miles and they might not even refund back. Just so disappointed. For a better customer service at least to let us knew they were burn.
Their donuts are SOOO good!!! The dough is the best and no other ordinary donut will EVER compare! The corn dogs are also really good, I recommend the whole cheese one if you really like cheese because the sausage is plain. The potato topping is also good but is on the heavier side so if you want something lighter I would stick to either no toppings or ramen toppings for a simple extra crunch :))
It was dirty there were crumbs on almost every table from previous customers. All their napkin dispensers were empty. They messed up my order several times it was overly hyped the food wasn’t good either. The wait time was terrible waited almost a hour for 3 drinks 2 of which they kept getting wrong.
We had the sweet potato and cheese corndogs. They were tasty and just barely worth what we paid. The drinks were criminally bad. The lemonaid was a bunch of lemon pulp and zest in some kind of fizzy water. The Thai iced tea was so sweet we had to dilute it with water in order to make it potable. The staff were friendly but it didn't seem like they were too keen on QA. They processed the orders but didn't seem to inclined to check to ensure everything was as it should be.We had to wait quite a while for our very small and very simple order. There seemed to be several people milling about in the food prep area who had nothing to do but chat. When one of them came out to process our criminally bad drinks she had no interest in making eye contact or smiling. The contrived attempt at cuteness of the place is completely undone by the lack of personable staff. If they don't want to work there I wouldn't blame them.Parking was a headache. My gf was almost killed by a semi. We'll go to another store if we go back at all.
Love their unique mochi donut flavors and corn dogs! The staff is always super friendly. Definitely one of my favorite dessert/snack spots in Sacramento!
I've never had a bad item from mochinut. Last time, I had the ramen corndog, this time I had a cheese covered half and half (half corndog, half mozzarella stick) and my lady got the potato half and half. Always 10/10
Donuts are good not exceptional but good! Customer service absolute 0. The asian women didn't even look us in the eye the whole time and gave my wife attitude when we asked what flavors were what. The donuts werent clearly labeled its just a simple question if you don't like your job quit!!!
Forcing people to buy a dozen is ridiculous.
This place is super cute and they have multiple locations all over the Bay Area. What first intrigued me was their canned drinks. We definitely came here for the drinks and not the mochi donuts, but of course we had to grab some mochi donuts. We got one of each flavor, and my favorite was probably either the guava or the Mexican hot chocolate. I'm not sure if they rotate their flavors, but I would highly suggest those two. I ended up eating a donut the day after, and it was still good. Nice and chewy and full of flavor. The shop itself is pretty small, but it's very cute. They also offer Korean Hot dogs if you're interested in those. Parking can be a little difficult as there are few other businesses in the area.
