Placed a take out order but being that I still have pregnancy brain I completely forgot to pick it up so I called Mimi's Cafe and explained the situation. After speaking to at least three different employees I was told I needed to contact UberEATS about the issue. I ordered online from their website, had my order number, the time/date and I offered to give them my full name if they needed to look my order up and I told all three employees this. Finally I was told I would need to speak to a manager, who told me he had no way of confirming that I had not picked up my order. I could not believe they had no way of verifying if my order had been picked up or not since he said they would have sent a cancellation email if the order was never picked up but I never even received one. After going back and forth with the manager telling him I'm not trying to scam anyone I legit just forgot to pick up my order I was told since it was not the companies fault they would not remake my order nor refund me I thought this was ridiculous and said so to which the manager replied it's not ridiculous because you didn't come pick up your order becoming irate with me. I was in tears about the incident at this point and asked for corporate's number. The manager gave me the number telling me I could " try and see if they would tell me something different!" I said thank you and hung up and began dialing corporate when Jason the manager called me back a few minutes later telling me that I would receive my refund in a few days. After being treated so rudely and basically berated I was surprised so I asked why the sudden change of tune? Apparently Jason said the "big boss" approved the refund and to not take his ( Jason the supposed manager) treatment of me personally because the neighborhood the restaurant is located in "isn't the best" so they experience a lot of scam orders. This was my first time ever ordering from the restaurant safe to say I will never place another order here...
Had Griddle cakes and Sausage for Breakfast.I asked for Potatoes instead of eggs.Griddle cakes and sausage links were great. Potatoes were seadonrn abd too salty. If you want peppers and onions, they charge extra. They serve Margerine and do not carry Butter.Unbelievable!Service was good. Not my first choice of Restaurants.Pricey.
Not as great as it was on past visits, but maybe it was just an off day. On the plus side it has a fabulous and large menu, with all day breakfast and items like quiche and crepes that you rarely find elsewhere. It also has a very nice and comfortable vibe, sort of casual country-French, and a decent beer and wine menu too (they have Sam Adams on tap, my fave!). Worth a visit for sure.
I was very disappointed with the food and service. The corn beef hash was gross and I sent it back. Then the mashed potatoes were bad tasting too. The waiter took our order and brought some food, but forgot two orders and the mashed potatoes. No one came back to check if we needed more drinks and we had to ask for silverware. I'm definitely not ever eating there again. It's not worth it and too expensive.
I've been going to Mimi's for breakfast for years and I've noticed a decline in the quality of the breakfast potatoes. There were much less on the plate, the potatoes were sized unevenly which resulted in larger pieces being undercooked, and they seem to be less seasoned nowadays. I am assuming this is some sort of money-saving grab on the company's part as I have noticed this change at different Mimi's locations.I was happy with the quality of the rest of the meal and service is always great there.My only other complaint (which made this a three star instead of a four star) was that their bathrooms were gross. I don't know if they are understaffed and don't have someone who can tend to them regularly, but it begs the question of the whole restaurant being unclean in my opinion.
I had to ask for bread twice, and even then it took 20 minutes. When I ordered the pot pie I was informed they were out and "for future reference, we've been out for a while." The chicken was dry. The quinoa/ rice medley was very dry. They double charged for my date's dessert.It cost $90. It wasn't only not worth the $90; it wouldn't have been worth the drive to get there, if the meal had been free.

No wait! Good food. Great customer service. Pot roast was a tad bit salty but cooked well.
The variety of food selection was nice, staff made sure this place was spotless all while serving customers. The young man didn't wear mask the young lady did, maybe need some consistency there. otherwise overall great experience.
Order for pickup go lava cake which was served ice cold and pot roast which an no meat an no mashed potatoes it was like the just put whatever was left over from the day I’m very upset am will not be returning
