First off - server’s name was Ryan and he was super fantastic. If you get him, you won’t be disappointed.We ordered off the happy hour menu and tried the hamachi sushi, Karaage chicken, and the Puff Daddy. Everything was fantastic but the hamachi was a stand out, extremely fresh and top quality. Drinks we tried their Lychee Shock which is served with a cute little flower bud they called an “umami button.” Apparently you’re supposed to chew on this flower bud, then sip the drink for a fun surprise. I let really worked and was a fun and novel experience.Should you come? Yes. Yes you should!
If you like chain Sushi restaurants that have a fancy vibe atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Sushi was decent, but lacked flavor, which is to be expected from a chain. Good place to satisfy your craving for sushi.
We went at a perfect time on a Sunday later afternoon. Our server was awesome! The food is always great and they have great prices. They also have options for people who dont appreciate sea food or sushi. Thank you again Mikuni for being a perfect place for a nice afternoon date!
I sat at the bar. The staff was wonderful. I could actually see my food being made behind the bar. The food was delicious! I will be coming back!
I wish I could give it zero stars but the system wont let me. Some of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. Our waitress (Brittney) forgot to put in one of the rolls from our very simple order. Rather then bring the rest of the order and let us know what happened she said nothing. A couple sat at the table next to us at least 20 minutes after we ordered. They their entire complicated order before our order came out. When we asked the waitress about it she said she was having the kitchen remake our order since the part that was ready had been siting there for so long she said she could pack it up to go. If we had wanted to take it to go we would have ordered that way when we arrived. When we talked to the manager (Dresden) about what happened before we left he did not even offer anything such as a give card to come back for hopefully better service. He only said he would talk to her and that said he hopes we will come back and give them another chance. After being there for about an hour we had to leave to get lunch else where. We ended up going to Bento Box down the street that had way better service. We will defiantly not be returning to Mikuni's any time soon who knows it could be years if we ever decide to try there horrible customer service again. If you want sushi I recommend going somewhere else unless you are not that hungry and are willing to take the chance on waiting an hour+ for your food.
5 star Sushi/ Japanese cuisine! Definitely a huge fan of Mikuni’s. Jst is my favorite location. The atmosphere and aesthetics create a versatile environment that’s great for business meetings, date night, or casual drinks at the bar. Really can’t miss on the menu, lots of delicious options to choose from, the rolls are top grade. You can also buy their signature Green Tea to go; Matcha Iri Genmaicha !-Anthonyxibarrax
Great service, while being slammed, the sushi bar a bit backed up but came out fresh and delicious! Ordered the Nigiri 7, all the fish were killer, but the Ahi and Salmon stood out. The Ikura was so delicious and from Alaska. The Negitoro w/ green onion was melt mouth worthy.
