Such a cute place with a great vibe. We got the ahi nachos, lemongrass salad, chicken tacos, and a beer flight. Every dish was delicious. I would 100% come back.
I am OBSESSED with their onion rings! By far, my favorite pregnancy craving. The batter has a thicker funnel cake-like consistency which holds the thick onions well in place. The food is ALWAYS delicious as well as their cocktails, although I ordered mine virgin because I'm pregnant. I wanted to enjoy the mocktail I ordered like a regular person, but noticed that i started to feel a buzz...uh oh. So I stopped drinking it and let my husband drink it. It turns out the waiter got the drinks flipped of virgin and not (shown on the receipt). Oh well, at least it was only a few sips!Their salads are indeed large when you order a large, so be hungry! You also get a small plate of crusty parmesean bread with it.Any choice of food you can't go wrong weather you want an appetizer, a salad, or a meaty burger. Their burgers are really great because they use all sorts of flavors for their sauces, and deliciously paired toppings on the burgers.Definitely recommend, but just don't go on a weekend as they can get busy, and then service isn't as great.
The creme brulee French Toast was very delicious, really good if you enjoy sweet. I ordered a side of bacon with it and was still desiring a bit more food - the beautiful mountain of whipped cream was a plus though the French toast was sweet enough. If I come again I am DEFINITELY ordering the chicken and pancakes. I would recommend any of the eggs Benedict dishes based on what my friends got (big portions on those).I also ordered the under the honey tree (don't exactly remember the name) - very delicious and also sweet (maybe not the best pair with a super sweet French Toast in hindsight). Drinks were a bit overpriced in my opinion and were tasty but not the go-to item.
Have been coming to this meet and eat since it probably opened years ago. I used to love this place and it was my regular spot. But recently I noticed that quality has went down while prices for the food went up. I’m okay with paying the higher price as long as you get quality for it but this time it wasn’t the case. I noticed it awhile back but didn’t think much of it. This time we ordered Chicken Banh Mi and Fish Tacos with Spicy Steak Fries and some beers. The chicken sandwich and fish tacos were so bland and overall not worth it, in terms of quality and taste. The best part of the meal was the appetizer fries. I’m probably not going to be back for awhile until something changes. The staff were way nicer back in the day too compared to now.
First time here, had breakfast with Lily! Cute place! The food was really good! This dish is called a "Bergen Benedict" which was an English muffin, salmon (sooo good) the most PERFECT poached eggs, drenched in THEE most delectable hollandaise sauce! There were capers too which didn't lend/take away anything from the dish- but my suggestion would be to "fry" the capers to give a "salty crunch" and raise the presentation to another level- but that's just me. Every chef does things differently. All in all you should go! The food is amazing and they have an impressive bar if you want a cocktail any time of day! You can eat inside or out... check out the pictures! You won't be disappointed!! (Was a tad bit disappointed with my foam "swirl" on my cafe au lait... can you tell what it is?) Food for two and beverages= $54.39??
I love a good recommendation. My in laws raved about this place for a while and we finally got together to have a date day. There is no call in waitlist and the wait time was the same time to find an on street parking spot at 12 pm on a Saturday.Super cozy. Indoor and outdoor shaded dining. Vegan options and a menu to please all parties. Full sized bar. Delicious coffee. I ordered the vegan burger lettuce wrapped with a side of salad. They ordered a mozzarella appetizer, seafood pasta, Korean bbq taco and a steak and cheese sandwich. Clean restrooms. Terrific service from Anastasia. But the entire staff are all team players helping eachother out.
It's definitely hireend type of food. Semi fancy but delicious. Stay away from the sour mescaline drink. Not very good. Taste too much like cheap tequila.
This was our first time here and all our water had stuff in it. White little rice grain lookalike and red little things floating around. I'm thinking, ok, maybe it's infused with cucumber and raspberries. Been drinking it...NOPE. Asked our waitress when she finally came and she said it's filtered. She said it was probably bc they WERE busy and it's the dishes... she brought us new water and said she rinsed it extra......?♀️We got there bout 10 min til 4. We asked if we could sit outside but the waitress said no they were closing it down early. It took her a while to come back and take our order after the drink and appetizer order. Then she forgot to put in my daughter's grilled cheese order too! We got our food already so my daughter ate my toast instead. The food was ehh. Not too tasty but it'll go. I wouldn't come back here at all though. I miss the restaurant that used to be this place before it got burned and closed down.As we were leaving, guess what we see??? People sitting in that exact area/ table we asked to sit in!!! ?
Extensive menu for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. I was part of a large group for brunch. I ordered the Western Burger which was huge and delicious. All the meals served were large portions. Everyone loved their order. Next time I'll order the breakfast tacos, they looked delicious!
TY, TY, TY!!!!! For being awesome, being opened and being SO TASTY!!!!! Hubby and I had some business Downtown and we were looking for an awesome brunch spot!!! OH MY GOODNESS, the Bergen Benedict and Creme Brule French Toast were FABULOUS with lattes!!! Simply the TASTIEST!!!!!
