Amazing place, very authentic food, fresh ingredients, and amazing customer service. It’s by far the best pizza place in Sacramento
Although somewhat pricey, this is my go to when I'm up in Sacramento. Off the beaten path, Masullo Pizza never disappoints. Although the pizza is amazing, my kids love the Mustafa, I opt for the pasta with meatball. They often have different pasta specials but I stick to the traditional red sauce, simply delicious. I also recommend ordering two meatballs with the pasta since it's so damn good. I'm usually not a desert person but the coffee custard they serve in a small jar is highly addictive!
This restaurant embodies artisan pizza and pasta. The crust had the perfect bite and the mortadella/ricotta combo was a wonderfully savory topping.Their pasta special was light but flavorful and made for a nice pairing with the pie.The most pleasant surprise was their house-made chili oil. I used a sample portion as a dip with my crust and the taste/texture beat any prior bread stick/dip combo I've ever had.Overall, the portions may be less than a comparably priced establishment, but the quality and care of ingredients is quite evident. This location will remain a nice "treat yoself" spot in the neighborhood, especially when I need a pick-me-up.
I was a little disappointed on this visit. It has been a couple years. This time the service was a little lax (appetizer of bread and olive oil came after pizza). Pizza was also a bit gooey in the middle but burnt on top outer ring. Will go back as they have always been in the upper list of great pizzas in town. Hope it was just an off day.

This has been my go-to spot for wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pizza!! The tastes are amazing, and you have to try their meatballs. If you’re doing pickup, they ask you for a pickup time and it may not be available ASAP. Just something to keep in mind…Support a local restaurant with great pizza, instead of a national chain with mediocre pizza!!

Great pizza, even greater staff. Waitress forgot about us, the manager/supervisor came out took charge. Wonderful experience. My two year old loved the food.
Bobby Masullo is a gracious host and great chef. Zach was super attentive to my husband's and my needs. The courtyard where we sat was sweet and charming. I totally enjoyed my late afternoon time there.
