Love this place! Local pizza place with a very, very long history in Sacramento's Oak Park neighborhood. Reasonable prices, authentic, really tasty pizza (and lasagna!), and super friendly wait staff. No frills decor, but a nice selection of pinball machines to play and wine and beer available while you wait for your food!
I ordered 4 pizzas for pickup at 6:30 pm, prepaid via credit card 2 hours earlier b/c of the price, then showed up at 6:35pm and they didn't even start making them yet. I had guests coming over at 7 and had to tell them to come later. Sucks right?The pizza itself is pretty good though.
We love Luigi's! Best pizza in town! Been going here for years and will continue to go. Great food and atmosphere!
Arguably the ONLY pizza parlor in Sacramento that can rival any East Coast pizza joint! Luigi's is a Sactown legend and you MUST visit there if you're ever in the Sacramento area and are craving great pizza! ?? Order the meat lovers and their ranch dressing and you will NOT be disappointed. You're welcome in advance! ???
Ordered online. No problems. Pizza was alright. Light on the sauce. Skimpy on the toppings. Crust was good.

I have been coming here since I was a child. Let's just say that was over 20 years ago. With new owners that had taken over it just don't seem the same. Not too sure the food tastesThe same being how the last two times I went in the order some lasagne, they asked that I come back another time as a private party was about to be there. And the time before that, I was given the lasagne to take home and cook myself. Of Which the red sauce was missing. ?
As I was new to area I tried the first pizzaria I came across. Luigi's. I am here at ucdavis cancer center to combat throat cancer. I absolutely love pizza. I paid the20+$ for a small and what I got was a burnt first attempt at ever making pizza pizza! They should be ashamed for serving this!!
Luigi's pizza use to be the best pizza in town, until the new owners took over. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and the sausage was old tasting and disgusting. I called the store and the lady said sometimes they get the wrong sausage delivered but after she checked with the cook they said it was the original sausage. It literally tasted like it was old or left out the fridge for days! Ruined the whole pizza! The new owners need to get back to how this place used to be run. The pizza was never nasty and soggy like it is now. I’m so disappointed they let this great business go into the dirt like this! You have the best recipe and are not following it! Shame!!!!
Luigi's used to be my favorite pizza ever anywhere. Then he passed and it changed owners and I was living out of town and I came back and it just wasn't the same. Was in the area last week and I decided to stop and grab a pie MAAAAN LET ME TELL YOU IT IS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE IT WAS!!! I was so happy that I decided to stop!
