Beware the 15% 'wellness' gratuity!!! My husband didn't see the sign posted up high on a support post until I'd paid for the food. Sure enough...they added the 15% gratuity and I gave them 20% tip on top of that....all for food that was pretty meh (except for the duck fat fries). They should verbally disclose the auto gratuity when they present the ticket for payment. Just sayin....probably won't be going back cuz of that.

Went out on a Sunday night and the bartender that was fat with two ponytails was a JERK! We ordered two drinks looked for our card to pay and he disrespects me as a woman and Yells that we are "cut off"We felt racially profiled because they refused to serve us. We remained calm and asked for our drinks again and they said that they are refusing US service because we had an "Attitude"This was so frustrating, the manager came over and was WORTHLESS He said we were handling it nicely, and told us he has to stand behind his bartenders and Refuse us Service!Worst experience ever THEY'RE RACIST AND WORTHLESS!Worthless Rude Staff overall!Disgusting behavior from that bartender especially! And lack of leadership on the management side as well!

So many better places in midtown it blows my mind how this place is still in business staff is rude to say the least there is no customer service so don’t expect it here overpriced drinks unbearably loud music still do not understand what the appeal of this place is

Worst customer service ever. I had shown up with some friends, I had one drink prior at the porch with food. When I had arrived at 6pm and went to use the bathroom, as I walked inside I was told I was not allowed to be inside.. seing others i was Confused why because others were clearly inside. I had been there on multiple occasions and was told I was not allowed to use the bathroom. I asked if they were closed they said no. At that point I was severely confused as I had had my wrist stamped prior to entering the establishment. Terrible customer service.

My friend told me about Motown Mondays here and I went I’m currently heading there for the 2nd time. They play great music every single Monday. This place is poppin like it’s a Saturday night! My friends and I talked about it all week! Bartenders are quick to serve and they are very nice. All the people there were all friendly. I love how they have an outside sitting area. I haven’t tried the food yet but the pictures look amazing and my friend said it’s delicious. Try it out! Hotdog carts outside if you do get hungry and the kitchen is already closed!

$10 for a pint shown as $6 on their menu after tax and forced gratuity. No receipt after paying with cash. Bartender was apologetic at the bait and switch. Not worth it and kinda sketch since even with tax and a 15% gratuity on a $6 beer, the check shouldn’t be an even $10. Their forced gratuity note is in small print at the bottom of their beer menu. Go elsewhere since this place clearly has changed. The bartender was friendly enough.

I went to Lowbrau in downtown Sacramento for Breakfast and for the first time I can remember didn't finish my food. Half of our table was done eating by the time the other half got there food. My eggs (over medium) were overcooked and cold, toast was cold and unbuttered, and the meal is served in a cardboard tray similar to fast food. But the most surprising part was they expect you to order at the counter and a 15% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. What? So you tip your server before they serve you?I base my tip on the service provided, and part of that service is getting my food while it is still warm.I will never take my family back to this poor excuse for a bar/restaurant.

As I was heading home from a long day at work, i heard music that touched my soul. It was 11:30 pm on a Monday night I decided to go out to dance ( I usually dance in my room). This place allowed me to be me without anyone trying to her my phone number. I really, really needed th!s! To see everyone respecting each others space to enjoy the best of Motown Music .

As my first time here, I definitely was impressed. Being new to the area I am always trying to find great spots for vegan food. With a dairy allergy, the staff was helpful in guiding me to find great food choices. Their in house cola was so good, one of the best I've had. Definitely will be back again with me family.

The food was quite good but really pricey…. 2 beers, a sausage dog, and chicken sandwich with fries was $55. The ordering process was interesting. You have to order at the bar, but have to be a little pushy about it- if you stand back to wait your turn, other patrons will cut in front of you.
