Terrific food and service. There are two entrances. One for dine in, the other for take out; both labeled. If you want to sit outside stand in the take-out line. Free samples of freshly made icecream. The have a vegan option burger.Ordered the impossible burger and he the California burger. Both are nicely sized and filling.
I grew up in this place and they always have amazing customer service, kind workers, clean place and they have little arcade games as well. My boyfriend won a bunny in the arcade and my brother won a toy as well.They have delicious sandwiches, fries, and ice cream. They have a lot of other options as well, but I haven't personally tried them yet.They have an amazing chocolate syrup that you can buy separately in a jar.I'd recommend this place to anyone who'd want ice cream, sandwiches, and some fries.It's a great place for parties, hangouts, even just for yourself.
Always good times here at Leatherby’s, great memories are always created here. I haven’t been here in awhile and I can say they never disappoint. Today, I only had a root beer float and a side of fries. The fries were delicious, crispy and seasoned just right. The root beer float was gigantic! Our server was very helpful and friendly. The bathroom was clean and stocked well. I highly recommend!
We love this place. The ice cream is delicious, the employees are kind, the place is clean, prices are reasonable, and the servings are BIG. However, as strange as it might sound, from our personal point of view, we loved even more when they were proving the "in your car service" they offered during the pandemic. Now, is to go or dine in.
We went there years ago because of the home made ice cream. They still have the ice cream and now serve food. There are two doors to enter the building, one for eating there and one for take out.
I use to defend their prices but they are getting worse an worse. Getting less for more. git a black an tan today. use to have fudge covering dripping down side. Nope maybe a spoon full am most. ask for a little more got charged
Dope ice cream!! I will come back in a heartbeat. The ice cream was so good. I ordered raspberry sorbet and it was the perfect amount of tart and sweet. The chocolate was also very true to taste.They have tons of flavors, service is very fast, and the decor around the place was wonderful!! There is a mini arcade in the back. There are TONS of seats so I feel like this is a great place and atmosphere to kick back and catch up with your loved ones. In fact, I'm pretty sure I saw tons of young friend groups here.There is also the ice cream factory making part that is visible through a glass window on the right side of the building).The only thing that didn't make sense was when I ordered the ice cream, it got passed to someone else and then we had to wait a few more minutes, but whatever. I got my ice cream eventually. They also didn't ask if I wanted my order for here or to go.I had such a great time here. I think it's better than the other small ice cream places around Sacramento but I haven't tried them all yet. I need to go back and try more flavors!
Very welcoming atmosphere! Great selection of drinks and treats. Pleasant service and respectful staff. Ordered ice cream and a Shirley temple and both were delicious with large serving sizes. Would definitely come here again!
I’m definitely not pleased with the Leatherby‘s in Sacramento. My husband and I mainly drove to Sacramento just to have lunch and ice cream at Leatherby‘s. During our drive, we decided to go to REI first. Since Learherby’s in Sacramento was closer, hubby suggested we come here instead of the Elg Grove. HUGE mistake. Staff here were mostly concentrating with big parties. We won’t be coming back here if I have anything to say about it. Service: D Price: A Quality: A
My family and I haven't been here in years so we were glad to see that everything still looks the same and the ice cream is still the same quality and size. Can't go wrong with the banana split!
