Service was extremely bad. I was still waiting for my food after everyone was done eating! They served dinner we didn't order. You have to pay for chip's and salsa now. The salsa tasted like paste Picante out of a bottle. They literally serve is 10 corn chips then charged us $4 for them and if we wanted more we got charged again. The meal took way too long getting to us. I will NEVER GO BACK
The waitress was rude. There was 3 of us dining. Both me and another ate our food the 3rd party ate a little immediately went to bathroom and got really sick. They came and took her plate never asked why I told them what happened. They asked if she wanted boxed she said no she got sick. Poor service and food was lousy. I would not recommend to anyone.
Good food EXTREMELY loud on the deck.
Excellent prickly pear margarita. Packed a punch without tasting like a cheap tequila. The shredded beef enchiladas with tomatillo sauce were tangy and delicious...wonderful rice and black beans too! Definitely a cut above Mexican restaurants I've been to. Great service.
Despite our reservation we arrived to find the doors locked. Google reviews found this is a common occurrence despite the restaurant being in operation.
Nice Mexican restaurant and very convenient location. We were here during the Mardi Grass parade and were right in the center of it watching it from the 2nd story balcony. They are little disorganized but nothing too bad to spoil the mood. The margarita was good but the Sangria was very sour and watery. Probably used an old wine. Our server noticed and was kind enough to bring that up with management and not charge us for the drink. Chicken nachos were super tasty! Cool place and there is even an elevator to the 2nd floor but you can also use the stairs.
Nice place, friendly staff. Delicious margaritas. Nachos were the absolute best, abundant gooey fresh made cheese sauce, ton of toppings, every chip covered. We ordered more chips to clean off all the leftovers. Great food, atmosphere, service. Will come back next time visiting.
Last Friday night a friend and I got a much needed break away from our kids and got to go have a nice dinner out. What started out as an amazing dinner experience with the mariachi band and a great strawberry margarita quickly turned into a mariachi band fight with restaurant customers jumping in to break it up. It was a very scary situation with some adult men very upset and not caring about customers around them potentially getting hurt. At one point the fight came very close to our table and the outside heater fell and could’ve hit us easily. We were never addressed by the manager only our server, who in my opinion is not paid enough to have to apologize for a traumatizing meal. I suffer panic attacks and had to help console one of the mariachi band members because she was so upset and scared. And when you’re going out to dinner you don’t expect things like this to happen nor does the management or ownership but when situations like this occur they need to make sure their customers are taken care of. We were comped half of our meal which is just ridiculous considering we were interrupted while eating by people punching each other in the face. When they asked if we were done with our meal after all the ruckus had subsided we laughed and said yes. Even if I wanted to snack on my dinner plate some more I was too overwhelmed with adrenaline to finish. To ownership and management you need to be sure that your customers are happy when they leave. I will never come back nor recommend this place to anyone regardless if the food is good and the wait staff is polite. Please do better in the future
So sorry but the food had absolutely no flavor at all. The location was nice and the server was great! Overpriced and zero flavor.
The food wasn't too bad, except that everything tasted like old oil, from the chips on. Tasted like they don't clean their grill often enough, or don't replace the oil frequently. Really ruined an otherwise decent meal. The music was also too loud inside, especially for an empty restaurant. And the traffic noise from i5 being literally next to the rear wall was loud on the patio. But, if they got rid of the old oil taste, I would go again.
