We had several different dishes and all were fantastic minus the 3 Mares Soup, which is supposed to be a hot seafood soup, It tastes more like tomato soup. But I would go again and try different types of food.
The food was delicious and great service and quick service and only reason I didn't give it the fifth star was because the meat from the tacos I ate tasted different than what I'm used to but I guess it's cause it was my first time there and they probably use a different recipe to make it than they do at the taco truck where I usually get my tacos. I went to the favorita for the first time this past mother's day with my family to celebrate my mom and grandma so it was my first time trying there food, it was very good despite the difference in flavor.
Ive been coming here for nearly 15 years. Its always been good every time. Service is always on point, the food is always on point, its always clean, food comes out quickly. I think my only thing I would give a bad review to is I dont care for their birria. It reminds me of a bowl of an american beef stew(not saying thats bad just not what I'm looking for) they press their own tortillas, the salsas are always super good. Cant beat this place with a stick
5 star ratings with this Mexican restaurant is really true! We’ve been through a lot of Taquerias, but this place is the very best! We tried Tacos, burritos, fajitas, nachos, they all taste so delicious. So here’s to another 5 Stars!
Took my Girl Scout troop here for lunch today. Nice, very clean restaurant. Friendly, helpful people. Food was delicious and plentiful. Nice, extensive salsa bar with pre -packed chips. Even my picky girl enjoyed sharing the huge plate of carne asada fries. The steak on this plate was wonderfully tender and and without that typical awful globs of fat! We left satisfied and mentioned that we'd be happy to return. Thank you for making our meal pleasant for all!
Great food! The salsa bar has more variety than other taquerias. They are tolerant of many different cultures.
Amazing, best Mexican food in Sacramento. They say you can judge how good a Mexican restaurant is, by how many Hispanic people eat there. This place passes in flying colors and is usually packed!The food is amazing and budget friendly. It's a great place to bring the entire family. The food is as authentic as it gets and they also feature a free chip and salsa bar that's fully loaded for all customers.
Pretty cool place good atmosphere and great food, they make their own tortillas and it's clean as far as I can see 8.5 out of 10 recommend going here to eat or just hang and watch foot ball
LA FAVORITA ALWAYS MAKES GOOD FOOD. WE BACK UP OUR NEIBHORHOOD MEXICAN RESTAURANT BY TAKING THEM OUR BUSINESS BUT IT SEEMS LIKE THEY AREN'T DOING THE SAME FOOD IS DELICIOUS BUT A FOUNTAIN DRINK WAS 3.00 DOLLARS THAT WAS OUTRAGEOUS. I'M NOT THE ONE TO CRY ABOUT SPENDING MONEY ON PURCHASES BUT 3.00 IS OUTRAGEOUS THE COKE BOTTLE MAYBE 2 DOLLARS BUT 3 DOLLAR'S WERE IS THE LOYALTY TO THE CUSTOMER. AGAIN FOOD WAS DELICIOUS SOCORRITO WAS AMAZING THE WAY SHE TREATED US AT OUR TABLE. I LOVE TO EAT AT LA FAVORITA SINCE IT FIRST OPENED.
I have had Mexican food from many different places,. but this place is one of the tastiest! Especially thier fish tacos, super yummy!
