Huge disappointment. I used to drive for Uber eats and I used to deliver their food and I thought man some day I'm going to try this place out. I order Buffalo chicken with no blue cheese and when It's delivered it is plain chicken plain fries for over $15... Very bad experience not sure I'll ever be back.

The same problem has happened WAY TOO MANY TIMES. And the most frustrating part is that I expressed the specific issue with the lady at the counter and she just shrugged her shoulders carelessly and said "ok that's fine". Like she absolutely couldn't care less as a long term regular customer is canceling their order and walking out the door.So here's the issue. Which I'm sure many other customers have had also.I'm busy so I call ahead and make a phone order. At the end of the order they tell me it will be ready in 10 minutes. Not once EVER has it been ready in 10 minutes. Understandable though. No big deal if I need to wait a couple minutes after I show up. Or over the last year or so I just started showing up after around 15 minutes.WELL GUESS WHAT... 75% OF THE TIME THEY DON'T EVEN START MY ORDER UNTIL I WALK IN THE DOOR. THEN ITS ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. ON TOP OF THE 10-15 MINUTES I ALREADY WAITED AFTER MAKING THE ORDER AND DRIVING OVER THERE. WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE IF THE PLACE IS GOING TO LITERALLY TREAT YOUR ORDER THE SAME WAY AS A WALK-IN CUSTOMER??!! THE WHOLE REASON I CALLED AHEAD WAS TO LIMIT THE WAIT TIME.Ok so today specifically... I pick up my daughter from school. Make the phone order. They say 10 minutes. I show up after 13 minutes. I tell them my name and I called in my order. The lady at the counter turns and says something to the lady by the fryer. Then the fryer lady puts some fries and chicken down into the fryer to start my order. The lady at the register wants me to pay. I said I'll wait until the food is ready. She says I have to pay now. Which doesn't make sense because 25% of the time they actually have my order ready or almost ready when I get there. Anyway, THE PLACE IS EMTPY. THEY ARE NOT CROWDED. THEY WERE NOT COOKING ANYTHING ELSE. ALL THE FRYERS WERE EMPTY UNTIL SHE DUNKED MY ORDER IN THE BASKET. No line. No other customers. No other to-go orders being cooked. Literally just 2 lady's who decided not to start my order until the time I show up expecting it to be done or almost done.So anyway, the reason I was going to pay AFTER it's cooked was because they expect you to pay a tip. Over the counter even for pick-up orders. I usually tip anyway. But this time I was going to express my frustration about the reoccurring problem with the time issue. And my tip was going to reflect on that frustration. So when she told me I had to pay first I just told her to cancel my order and explain that I had called 14 minutes earlier and they should not just be starting to cook my food. She shrugged her shoulders like she didn't care. Then I said okay. Cancel my order.... And she said okay that's fine. Horrible employee.And if any ownerbor manager from Kikis is reading this, I want you to know you lost a regular customer Because of this issue happening too often. Time and date to reflect on your workers shifts was 5/2/22 at 3:40pm. And phone order was made at 3:26pm. And I mean specifically when they are not crowded. It happens when friars are empty and unused and they still don't start my order until I get there even if they had the ability to.

Kiki’s Chicken has the best chicken in town!!
Kiki's is one of my favorite places to get food in Sac. I always get chicken tenders, tots, and a huge side of ranch dip. Their tenders are the right combination of crispy and juicy, and their tots and fries are cooked to perfection. I've also enjoyed their salad options, but if you're coming to Kiki's just go for it, man. You know that's not why you're here. Get those Kiki's fries and live your best life. You won't regret it!
Usually this place is amazing. I must say ever since they've opened up multiple locations, it seems as if the original locations do not cook with the same quality or love like it use too. I am sorry to say it seems more like a quick burger place now with no care or passion for the food it serves. Coming from a customer that's been enjoying this chicken an fries combination.
I came here after inquiring with a friend as to some good fried chicken. First off, chicken tenders and wings are not fried chicken, in my most humblest of opinions. The wings were ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. They fry them all, even the bbq ones. The chicken tenders were... Chicken tenders... Not much different from the frozen premade ones at the store. The best part of the meal was the tater tots, and even those were way too salty. Maybe I went on a bad day or my expectations were falsely high. I'll give it another try some other time perhaps, but this visit did not satisfy.
Usually this place is amazing, but tonight I ordered my usual and I'm pretty disappointed! I ordered the 20 piece boneless wings with honey bbq. Tossed in the bbq sauce. That's not tossed. It's a light drizzle. Some of these also smell and taste like a Buffalo sauce, they have a little kick to it. New employees who don't care? Not sure. But I'm super disappointed ?
Yo this place was freaking amazing. Buffalo chicken with french fries. I honestly wanted to go back after we just ate there. Food was out quick and tasted very good. Not expensive at all. Highly recommend the kiki fries 100%.
