Expensive and also the waitress brought water with ice when asked without ice, it stank inside, and one of the three dishes turned out to be delicious. But overall not a bad food experience.

Amazing food and service. Great looking place, will come back a third and fouth (and on) time.

Service was excellent, the rolls were fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing. Warm sake was a very nice touch. If you've got time and love sushi make Ju Hachi a must try on your list

I came here recently on a Sunday around dinner time and it wasn't too busy. We ordered a couple rolls and some nigiri. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of fishes like uni, toro, & oysters. The sushi rolls were okay, nothing amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive but I don't see myself coming back since there are other restaurants I prefer.

This place has been one of our go-to’s for meetings with clients, friends, family, even to just decompress solo and have a delightful conversation with the staff at the bar.The staff is top notch, a true neighborhood friend! Very educated and passionate about what they’re doing. Any questions we had, they’ve answered with such enthusiasm and excitement that it really adds to the experience. This is a hidden gem that needs to remain hidden, because I want to keep it all to myself. In all seriousness, you have to try this place out. You will not be disappointed!

I've been here several times and the sushi is usually quality. The management and customer service, however, leave much to be desired. I ordered takeout today and spent $20 on an order of wagyu fried rice alone. When I got home and opened up the containers I was surprised and disappointed to find that the rice dish was easily more than half empty (see attached picture). Considering the dish cost $20 dollars it should be enough to feed at least 1 adult, even if it does have (very small) pieces of "wagyu" beef in it. I called the restaurant to express my disappointment and was offered 15% off my next meal there. Evidently, Ju Hachi management thinks costumers should come back and spend more money at their restaurant in order to receive value and satisfaction out of their previous meal. Essentially, I was told "too bad, so sad"; they already had my money and I was already home. If you do order takeout from here, check your dishes before you leave.

We have been to Ju Hatchi before and had a good dining experience with excellent service. But, on New Year’s Eve we brought seven out of town guests and our experience was terrible. The server brought two meals which were not what was ordered, Two other orders were not made until after we asked about them. In addition, two other meals were served without the soup and salad. The owner or manager came by, but made no apology or adjustment to the bill. We were very disappointed.

Photos of some dishes we ordered. The tempura cheesecake is recommended. Small and cozy place with good foods.

Fantastic food and great service.
