Service is slow, but very friendly. We had 2 requests for items they didn't have readily available, and they prepped on the spot.Egg side dish was soooo good and I normally don't care for gyeran mari. Main dishes were yummy as well.
Delicious Korean food! My mom and I ordered a seafood pancake, stone bibimbab, and bone soup with vegetables and everything was delicious! The food was served quickly and came with a wide variety of side dishes. The restaurant owners were so sweet and kind. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants delicious authentic Korean food!
Everything was so delicious! We got beef tendon soup, grilled mackerel, and bulgogi. The tendon soup was the most flavorful out of all other Korean restaurants we’ve had it at, as well as the mackerel. It was the first time to see a place provide two pieces of mackerel instead of one, in one order. The bonchon was seasoned and pickled very well and tasted very fresh! Keep in mind though, this place is short on staff as it seems to be only family-run at the moment, so please be patient and expect to wait a bit for food to come out. Otherwise, the family themselves were very friendly and accommodating. Our mackerel was a tad bit undercooked just at the center and we had asked them to fry it a few additional minutes, they were nice about it :) I’ll be coming back soon!
One of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to so far. Service was excellent and friendly. Food portions were great for the price. Had a cozy homey family friendly vibe to it which was nice. Had Bossam, fried chicken, and tteokbokki which were all excellent. Their kimchi is also fresh so it isn’t as fermented/sour as most places or store bought.
Been here twice. This place makes food like you're back home with your grandma. The side dishes are very tasty and not overly sweet like some other places that I've had. Their soups are excellent and I would recommend them for the wintertime. The chuncheon dakgalbi reminds me of the one I had at tong na moo jip in chun cheon, south korea. Their prices are very reasonable and they are nice.
2nd time here enjoyed the food.
I really enjoyed their food and I wish to be back here soon. I’m sure if I tried other entrees I’d be satisfied too. Good prices for the quality and amount of ingredients in each dish! Seems like decent folks run the new place. The only thing I can say is that the location isn’t the best… Location is so important for small businesses and I feel this restaurant has potential to thrive more in a better area. However, it’s definitely a gem, so much talent to offer inside so definitely visit when you can.
This is the best Korean restaurant I’ve been to in NorCal, and prices are reasonable for Korean food. Our server was delightful, and even the banchan was above average. They told us they just opened in February. Don’t let the outer facade deter you and give it a try!
Was my first visit to Jeon Ju Gom Tang& BBQ and it will definitely be on my must stop again list. The Server was very pleasant and the owner chef made me feel special. I had the beef vegetable rice bowl served in a hot stone pot, it as delish. It also came with about 6 side dishes off the chart healthy and tasty. Kudos I will sing your praises to anyone that will listen.
I'm so happy this place opened before our trip to Sacramento! None of the Korean places remotely close to where we live serve true authentic dishes, so I knew we had to stop here. The woman who served us was so sweet and funny, and was happy to explain the various side dishes after learning I, a non korean, was intentionally ordering Soondae to try it (she said she warns people because they label it as korean sausage instead of blood sausage). Everything we got was delicious and fresh/piping hot. The soondae exceeded my expectations. Their radish and fresh kimchi is super good! She even asked which Banchan we liked, and gave us extras to take home. We'll 100% come here whenever we're in Sacramento!
