They are very meat oriented. Tri tip, turkey...salads, mashed potaoes, veggies...etc. They just mix up their standard ingredients and sauces the way you want. Like an "alacarte" menu. Their beer and wine selection is not very creative. But they are an easy place to get a hardy meal...
I got some food delivered to me from this place, so I am not sure if it would have been better if I had dined there. However, the food was just ok. It wasn’t delicious enough for me to try it again!
I knew something was wrong when the food came out so fast. It was less than 7mins after my order !!!!Olive oil spilled all over the bag, everything cold and hard …..I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich the chicken was extremely cold dry and hard it says charbroiled chicken I wonder when they charbroiled a couple weeks ago couple months ago couple years ago put it in the freezer I don’t know what they did to it worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life , they burned my bun on the grill outside only so the inside was seriously lacking moisture & being toasted properly and then the side salad basically they just threw all of the crust of the lettuce in there all the white part no greens with a bunch of carrot strings on top that’s it kind a side salad is that also ordered the mashed potatoes and gravy the gravy did have a good flavor but the mashed potatoes were very dry and lacking flavor the macaroni and cheese also was cold and lacking sauce… we also ordered the kid chicken strips the chicken strips themselves were hard as a rock on the ends as if they were over fried and all of our food containers we’re covered in oil since apparently they don’t know how to put the lid on the oil for the side salad so it was a huge mess I spent $50 on a meal that was worth maybe $12 at Wendy’s and Wendy’s would’ve done a better job this is the place to go if you want cold hard dry food served super Duper fast
Best salads in Sacramento and surrounding areas. The create your own salad is OUTSTANDING. Fresh and yummy food.
Good sandwiches, better salads. Worth having as a regular. I thought the Sandwich I had was on the small side in terms of meat (banh mi), but fries are good too. Not a high end place, more casual style and solid for regular outings.
This place used to be really good. The food was tasty and enjoyable. I used to come here for lunch and sometimes on the weekend. Today, I likely ate there for the last time. It’s not that it was bad. It just wasn’t good. The bread was changed for some sandwiches. Urban fries have much less of the toppings then in the past. Shrikflation I understand (and I do not like) but the decrease in overall quality of the food is just something I do not need to accept. Thanks for the memories, Jacks.
The food is great. My issue was the service. Like a lot of restaurants, Jack's has a touch screen that you have to engage with upon payment that asks you how much you'd like to tip. I tipped 15% knowing full well that Jack's is a counter-service restaurant (as opposed to having a waiter).I ordered a sandwich and my girlfriend ordered a chicken plate. First off all, they brought my order first instead of bringing our food all together. When my order was delivered, I asked for utensils and the employee smiled and said, "Forks and knives are located inside the restaurant".WHAT? Regardless of my tip, they didn't think to bring forks and knives for a plate of chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables??? And then directed me to go get it myself? On a super slow Tuesday with hardly anyone in the restaurant? Lame.
Great ?? ?please Take a date out side our inside !!!
A steady standby for me because it's close and has tasty, interesting offerings and sides. It's a little more than I'd like to pay for a casual meal, but I keep doing it because of the quality ingredients, quick service, and friendly staff...and the proximity.
Favorite restaurant. I used to eat here 5 days a week!Clean food. Great staff. The energy feels good when you walk in that place.
