They're crooks, the new management. We ordered food during pandemic. Had to wait for almost 1 hour fto receive our food. The guy socked us close to $80.00 just for 3 dishes. No receipts, nothing. I've never seen him there before so obviously new people. Foid was awful. Lamb curry, so oily and salty. They said they would never return to Buffet because they dont make any money but I'm reading the reviews and it appears they have. Probably they are not doing well with A La Carte so they have had to resort to Buffet. I would never go there again!!!

I placed a delivery order though their website and no one through DoorDash picked it up. Restaurant called me and notified me of this. I requested a refund as I didn’t have a ride to pick it up. The person on the phone graciously offered to personally deliver to me since my work is nearby. I appreciate you all for reaching out and going out of your way to deliver me my order!! Outstanding service!!

They make very good food but their service is terrible. We had to wait for 15 minutes to have someone ask us if we wanted anything to drink and we were the only ones in the restaurant. They are nice people but show indifference to your presence that is irritating. Hope they will become more service oriented and make the client experience more positive.

Do not go there for buffet. The lamb curry was old and smelled weird. Chicken was too hard. They added too much salt in most of their dishes, trying to make them last for a few days. $40 for 2 persons is not worth it. They increased the price but decreased the quality. Please avoid any meat dishes unless you want upset stomach. I don't think a lot of people visit during weekdays so they must be serving same food for many days.

Congratulations to Indian Oven Natomas! Your food is more delicious than ever. You have also created a new refreshing authentic look inside which takes me straight to India. Service was top notch. Food was pure delight which anyone can enjoy with correct amount of spice for all. Fish pikura made perfectly with crunch and less oil. You are now #1 in line of favorite Indian culture cuisine. Peace be unto you.

My first time trying Indian oven and I’m impressed. Garlic naan was excellent as well as Chicken Tikka Masala! I’m only giving 4 stars because the door dasher couldn’t find our house and we had to meet him outside!

Terrible food!!! Please don’t ever go here. I repeat never go here. Over priced food that has no taste. The food is extremely salty I guess cuz it is old and they are trying to preserve it. I don’t know how they are able to survive serving such tasteless food. The food is pathetic. I have never eaten such bad food. The one star is only for the ambience and the courteous staff otherwise the restaurant itself is zero.

India Oven. Tasty, spicy and a unique experience. The hyderabadi chicken biryani - spicy is the way to go. Jam packed with herbs, it compliments your choice of curry. We chose the Lamb Saag Masala and it was delicious. Definitely worth a trip. Also start off the night with the Amritsari Fish Pakora. It's a light dish the set the mood for dinner.

I’m not sure why this place is suddenly getting 1 star? It makes no sense. Ive been eating here for years and have never had a complaint. The food is great and I’ve always had amazing service. I feel that people think, because they can eat in a restaurant and type up a quick review on google, they are professional foodies. Ummm… no. You had a meal in a restaurant. That’s it. That doesn’t make you special. Giving a business one star simply because there is not enough ice cubes in your water or the waiter didn’t smile enough is just flat out ridiculous. Maybe remove one star because the waiter didn’t smile enough… not four! People need to use common sense and logic in their reviews. If you don’t like something, try something else. You can’t judge an entire menu or place just because there was a “little too much frosting on my cupcake!” Did the cake or filling taste good??? Were the waiters attentive? Were they quick to correct their mistake? I love this place and have zero complaints. Don’t listen to the haters on google. I highly recommend this place! And, no, I’m not friends with the owner. I’ll continue to eat here and have an amazing experience. Keep up the good work India Oven!

It's been 3yrs since I went back to India Oven today. With my husband and daughter .Due to pandemic they had no buffets. When I reached to the Truxcel India Oven,I see the door looks different. Went inside every thing looked remodeled When it came to the food,it's a different thing very little food in quantity and the quality very bad. Tea tasted horrible, kheer tasted sour.I think it's a new management and bad cook. For 3 of us was almost $60 for the lunch buffet. Not going back there ever. With old management food was superb. Not going back!!
