Lasagne did not have that much flavor unfortunately. Chicken salad rated subpar to another venue. Service was great. But I always expect more from ail Fornaio and we were sad to be disappointed since not inexpensive.
Our waitperson, Rossie, was extremely attentive and helpful. I ordered the Risotto with shrimp, salmon and tomatoes. My husband ordered the lasagna. Both were very tasty (be forewarned - the lasagna is rich and there is a lot of it). Cannoli for dessert. We haven't been to this restaurant in quite a while so need to add it back to our list of places to eat in downtown Sac.
Our waitress was amazing! Food all came out at a good speed but had to wait over 30 min for our entree which was not great. Second time dining here and enjoyed the experience overall.

We had an 7.45 pm reservation. Celebration dinner for my daughter. Service was very slow even though not many people there. After our entree we were given dessert menus but the a few minutes later told we couldnât order dessert as the Kitchen was closed. Disappointed with that. If you decide to go leave plenty of time for slow service.
