Ordered birthday cupcakes for our daughter's birthday. As usual tasted super good. The cakes were ready on time.
"Icing" is unreal! Both divine and delicious! Unique and mouthwatering...you get the idea. For a special occasion, my dearest friend brought me a dozen of these most incredible masterpieces ("Cupcake" hardly does justice to the exquisite cake and knock-your-socks-off icing flavors.) How good? I did not want to share with anyone - and, I did.Everyone raved about the very moist cake - the assortment of yummy flavors...the visual! We are fans for Life.
It's the most scrumptious place you ever want to be! It was like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! The chocolate was so decadent, and all the flavors were moist. I'm looking forward to having your cupcakes on every occasion! Thank you Icing on the Cupcake.

These cupcakes are the BEST! Seriously. I shamelessly ate my way through this entire box with flavors like s'mores, birthday cake, and even peanut butter and jelly, there was honestly not a bad cupcake in the entire batch. If you have an upcoming birthday party or hosting a super bowl party type gathering perhaps, I'd highly recommend scooping up some cupcakes from one of their two stores, located in Midtown Sac and Roseville. When I say this is the best place to enjoy sweets in Sacramento; no, scratch that, California, oh wait, IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, let me tell you! This place absolutely rocks... From the welcoming customer service, to ease of ordering, multiple tempting options, right down to each decadent bite of every pastry. My credit card bill is filled with everyday visits and I must tell you nothing beats this place ❤️❤️ My sister almost missed her flight back home because she just had to buy more and share with family. Following suit, I decided to give this place a try, and now I'm addicted; a dedicated customer for life. I love the Snicker doodle cupcakes, Eggnog, and of course, regular vanilla, but please, let's talk about the Blondies!!! I literally have to call ahead to make sure it's some left, and if I'm lucky, I take an early lunch just to race there and buy them all. Everything is made perfect---moist, lick-lipping and delicious down to the last bite!
Parking is horrible but of course you probably knew that. After parking, when we finally get into the store, there's a nice, pretty selection of cupcakes. But as the name suggests, it's all about the icing. The cake is subpar for sure. Tastes dry and bland. I literally eat the top of the cupcake and throw the rest away.

The only cupcake store I'll visit in Sacramento! I'm a long time customer from the very beginning? Always fresh, and the frosting is amazing! Thank you Icing on the cupcake for making so many birthdays and events memorable for my family with your delicious cupcakes!
