Best Shanghainese food I’ve had in awhile. Service is really fast and all dishes are extremely tasty. Recommend pan fried pork bun, pork soup dumpling, brown sauce duck
Very unassuming place. They have a rest room for guests. We ordered take out and waited 20 minutes for the food. BUT, despite the wait, it was worth it. Good dimsum and noodles too. They also have these paper menus you can fill out so you know exactly what you ordered! That was the first time I've ever seen that in a restaurant.
Love the crab XLB and shenjianbao. Skip the beef noodle soup
This is truly a hidden gem! My boyfriend and I wanted to eat somewhere that would be worth it on our trip to Sacramento, and this was the best location the whole trip. The bok choy and mushroom dish was to die for—very authentic sauce and seasoning. The soup dumplings were so juicy and perfect! The soup was good, but I think we would have been fine to just order the dumplings and veggies—it was a lot of food! I would highly recommend this restaurant over any other restaurant in the area, unless you want overpriced american food! This dishes are incredibly reasonably priced with good service and even better food. Don’t miss out!
The food is authentic and delicious.
The service was good. I had the General Chicken which appeared saucy, but was bland. I also had the Hot and Sour soup which was excellent. The tea came with one tea bag and never really became tea, only hot water. Overall a 3 out of 5.
