I ordered takeout. Since there are literally no Indian restaurants near by at all, I'm very disappointed. I did not like the samosas. The filling inside is made differently from what I'm used to, and it was very dry. I didn't understand the texture. Maybe it was old or something?I had the lamb vindaloo. It could have been seasoned a bit more, but I fixed it. The lamb was not tender enough either, and there wasn't a lot of lamb or anything other than 1 small potato and broth! I got like 4 pieces of lamb. For $20? I took out the lamb and cooked it some more to make it more tender. If I'm only getting 4 small pieces, I'm gonna make it softer and tastier.After doing all of this work, I rather just make it myself for less than half the price, or buy a frozen dinner from the store. I highly recommend getting the Deep Indian Kitchen Chicken Vindaloo with Turmeric Rice for $5-$6 at your local Raleys or Bel-Air. That brand makes other good classics too. It is different since it has coconut cream, but it will satisfy your craving.
This is the best Indian spot in Sac hands down!!!! Everything was good. My husband & I both love Indian food & have tried a few places around & this place is so good that my husband ordered more food to go even after being so entirely too full to move. Lol. It’s a must try!
Best Indian food in Sacramento. Period. We had the saag panier and also gobi. Both were absolutely fantastic. We also got the samosas: what can I say but perfection. The garlic naan came straight out of heaven, I mean it was just delicious.As a side note the rice is delicious. Normally, I wouldn't call that out, but the rice is so good here I have to mention it.Best Indian food in the metro, bar none.

Really flavorful curry, the chicken was moist, the naan is fluffy and they have a great selection of beer and local wine too!

Delicious Indian food at reasonable prices. The beer selection has some of the best on tap brews around from North Coast to Morgan Territory.I've been here a few times and always been pleased with the speed of service and the quality of the food.
