This used to be my go to Chinese Restaurant. About 6 weeks ago I ordered the orange chicken combo and was disappointed. Thought to myself that this had to be a fluke. Knowing how good it's been in the past I returned about 2 weeks ago and yet again was disappointed even more with more items. The quality, the taste, the freshness was all gone. I don't know what happened to this place but I am in search of a new Chinese Restaurant until GD gets its stuff together.

I'm so disappointed in our food...my mom ordered honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, veggie chow mein, broccoli beef, and hot and sour soup. We've ordered here before and loved the food and flavors...but that was way before covid...so I have a feeling something happened and there was a change in chefs or something.I LOVE hot and sour soup and this soup had no hot and no sour, it was watery and not thick and gelatinous like most hot and sour soup is. I was just sad that there was no flavor. Not even any hint of pepper...its so sad, such a waste of money and food! The sweet and sour chicken was really dry inside when I was chewing it, it actually hurt my mouth to swallow because it was so dry it was like jerky. The flavor was also lacking, and there didn't seem to be any hint of sour at all.The honey walnut shrimp was great, the shrimp was cooked well and it was tossed in a good amount of sauce and had good breading. The veggie chow mein was also very bland, maybe it is missing sauce or salt...it just needed more flavor, the texture was fine, but very bland...The veggies were fine, they weren't anything spectacular, but they had more flavor than the other dishes.I didn't even bother trying the broccoli beef.

For Chinese American take out type food, the atmosphere of the restaurant feels nicer. They have the rattan lamp shades, and fairy lights, you know the feel. The general chicken here is the most popular item and it is well fried and tastes really good. Walnut shrimp is better than the typical takeout chain we all know. The only concern is the higher pricing (around 15-18 for dinner combo) but I know that everything is pricier in this economy. The fried rice here is pretty good. Chow mein is kinda mediocre. Salad is okay but wish it is a bigger portion.

Got the general chicken lunch combo and it was okay. The general chicken had a good amount of sauce and the breading could be made a little better I say this because I noticed some were clumped together as you can tell in the picture. As goes for the chow mein and the fried rice well the fried rice tasted a little plain, wasn't that's great. The chow mein is okay not the best but it tasted alright. Is the meal worth it? I'd say it's decent for it just being under 13 dollars but if I were to think of Chinese food this would probably not be my first place I would think of going to just because the taste wasn't there I felt like. I would like to give this place another try though maybe next time I come back and try a different item hopefully I can have better thoughts about it

So I been wanting to try this place for a min now cause I always see how busy it is so I did and it's def not worth the price and servings! Orange chicken had a nice flavor but a lot of pieces were hard everything else no flavorcrab and cream cheese wontons as well will not be back

The food is so good. A must go. The egg rolls were so delicious crispy and crunchy just as they should be. The staff was really nice.

Has the deep fried shrimp , generals chicken , pork fried rice and orange chicken stir fry , ( also they where open and it's Christmas Eve ? )So...very good take-out !Only got napkins and forks thoigh , no plates

Food is amazing , sadly covid had caused a rise in prices a bit tho

Food was awesome. Especially the sweet N sour chicken and hot N sour soup. Staff was pleasant and service was great as usual.

It was the worst food I've eaten! I have eaten there for yrs presentation is disgusting, the cashier was extremely rude my advise, run in the other direction. OH that's a minus 3 if that
