Love this place for great kabob. Friendly Persian owner is a great guy. Food is delicious. I always stop here when in town. Oh, it’s take out only these days. They cater.
Exceptionally a gem of a restaurant. Not only is the food very good, the owner is an outstanding person. My family and I come here whenever we want good joojeh kabab, or any other kabab. The quality is great, and the prices are extremely reasonable.
I only got a side of some amazing rice (had little weird berries in it. Omg so good) and baklava- which was perfect that nite and when I finished it 2 days later. A bit pricey- it worth it
When we decided to get married, we looked all around Sacramento for caterers who could put together fresh kebabs for a crowd. We are so happy we found Essy's! The beef kebabs and rice with fava beans were a BIG hit with our guests. Essy is also very easy to work with over text and very professional set up the catering station to be both visually stunning and delicious. Highly recommended!
Went here today waited at the counter for a long time even though the server or the owner could see us they just ignored us. They were listening to music and dancing away!!! They’re really overpriced for a Persian restaurant with NO dine-in option. You can get better food at a lower price with dine-in and excellent service at other Persian restaurants in the area.
Food was simply amazing. The ground beef kobideh kebabs and the lamb were mouth watering tasty. I love the saffron rice as well. Food is always top quality and sometimes we get our parties catored by Essy and man he brings a feast!!! Always a happy customer!
Excellent food. Excellent people. If your looking for good kabob. Stop your search and order here for sure. Thank you I appreciate it.
Essy he’s a great chef made a crazy type of foods so delicious I am really amazed by his way and generosity with costumers also his restaurant so clean and when you get there there’s no smell of foods that catch your clothes which is I am really happy with that because whenever I go restaurant when I get out I smell my clothes like I was the one who cooked, I really appreciate you that... and you deserve more than five stars.
Jojeh Soltani, Lamb Shank , and hummus, tasty, we like it??
I stopped for ghormesabzi, will not stop again. The seller is very polite but the taste was not a persian one. Also meal was not cooked enough and mastomosir was very industrial one. All for 27$ is most expensive To go one in California. Packing was great. Bread was nice too.
